it most certainly is British,Finders Keepers with Ian Sludge Lees on lead vocal (now a comedian for the past number of years) The Late Mel Galley Sadly very much missed was on the record as was the Great Glen Hughes.before forming Trapeze,
Some members from Finders Keepers, The Montanas ,Californians, and Light Fantastic are to re unite for a one off perfomance at Brierley Hill Civic Hall on Dec 10th including several other local artistes and entertainers this will be a nite to remember 4 sure
@em4llamedos They were indeed from Wolverhampton and included at one time Glenn Hughes and mel Galley who went on to form Trapeze.Hughes later joined Deep Purple. Can't say for sure if either or both are on this recording though.
I had heard of a song with this title that had been done by a U.S. group called the Mean Time or (maybe it was Meantime), featuring songwriter/producer/Ellie Greenwich. I finally got to hear it on YouTube. I see that this song was written by her and her one-time husband and collaborator, Jeff Barry. It took me years to get the Greenwich and Mean Time/Meantime connection.
