Congratulations on getting to sing at Obama's inauguration. I envy you! I'm writing a book about singing and came across Robert Nathaniel Dett's name while researching Francis Boott, and the Boott Prize (which Dett won, as I'm sure you already know). I'm going to email you to find out everything you sang that day!
It is profane that a group who sings the Gospel so beautifully could perform at the inauguration of a man who is so anti-Christ and pro-murder. And from what they said on this video, they were excited about it!
Why do black people feel it necessary to identify themselves with this HORRIBLE, EVIL man, especially when he's only "half black". Be your OWN PERSON! And Christians need to stop upholding evil just because they're trying to be "multi-cultural" or "diverse".
