@ThebYt3M3 Depends, do you still have some of the old Ageia games like Cellfactor or BOS and whether you'd prefer to have those physics calculations offloaded from your CPU. Note that I still have mine sandwiched between 2 GTX 470s.
@mohawkade Ahh, pretty nice. But the gtx460 overclocks better than the 470. But you have 2 of them and an ageia card.. well fuck you, I spent less money and I feel that I get more bang for my buck.
@teh1337storm Well the reason I chose the GTX470, was because of how well it jives with Adobe Products for GPU acceleration. The extra one is to help process all the extra bells and whistles I love about Nvidia (3D vision, PhysX,).
@teh1337storm Typically you need Quadro cards to run GPU acceleration with Adobe software, the GTX 470 is one of the few Geforce cards Adobe accepts and uses. Dunno why specifically.
@mohawkade interesting. Well, I guess that doesn't actually effect me that much. The only adobe program I use is adobe photoshop. So that's fine with me. But I was wondering if you could name off all of the physx enabled games you have? I've played through mirrors edge but I didn't feel it added that much, also mafia 2 and just cause 2 (not sure if applicable? don't remember)
@teh1337storm In which case, I do recommend checking out the PhysXInfo website, they list every PhysX game known to man and what type of acceleration it accepts!
so how dose this differ from say useing an nvidia gts 450 as a physx card with a gtx 560 ti?

@teh1337storm ...ahem, 2 GTX470s with an Ageia PhysX Card... I made a hack allowing the Ageia PhysX card to jive with the latest Nvidia Drivers.

@mohawkade What's special in the 470 that has GPU acceleration for adobe products?
