  • As a descendant of Mary Stuart, I feel an obligation to visit this place at least once in my lifetime.

  • We had my husband and his twin brothers 50th birthday celebration at the castle - a totally amazing weekend was had by all! Fantastic staff, the biggest and best breakfasts ever, afternoon tea to die for and amazing evening meals.

  • We had our honeymoon here in 1999 and really enjoyed it, we too hope to return soon for one of our anniversaries. Best wishes to the keepers of the castle we found their kindness and hospitality simply wonderful :)

  • This is a truly FABULOUS place; and the staff are wonderful, too. If you can get there, GO! Wedding, holiday, family gathering, company get-together, it matters not - just get there!

  • I accidentally stumbled upon this looking for Perthshire and am so glad to see our ancestors endeavors were not in vain. As a distant Stuart relative(on my grandmother's side) I can personally appreciate this and am proud it is part of my Celtic heritage.
