How does an engine take to wood gas, does it foul the plugs or leave tar deposits in the engine?

No,it could be somewhat shorter but it would hold less wood.The way it is,the capacity is 3, 40 lbs sacks of wood and each sack is approx a 25 mile driving range(75 mile total capacity)

The unit could have easily been 18-24" shorter.

I live in sw missouri. A guy at my work has turned a 70's model chevy into a flatbed with a simular set up though it is not complete yet. I am curious, do you think the government is going to find a way to tax you being that you arent paying a fuel tax on your set up?
