Again, the set belongs to my Dad so I dont know specifics but Im sure the chips need a DCC controler and he can run different trains on the same line.
The layout seems to have a West Highland theme - is this intentional or is it freelance? By the way the sound is really good. Which chip did your Father get for the Class 37?
Very nice sound. All you need is some s**t coming out of the exhaust.

Is your controller a DCC one. As in can you control the movements on more then one locomotive on a single track with no isolators between them?

I dont know exactly as this is my dads but I think you need the computer that controls it and the wiring for the layout is different (digital).

Hi Great sound
Where do you buy these sound chips from?
Do the fit older locos?
Cheers Paul

I think the chip was bought from South west digital, stick it in google and see what comes up.
You would need to look into what chips are available but Im pretty sure most loco's are catered for.

Great idea. The sound is pretty accurate too. Are those maroon Kitmaster coaches in that fiddle yard btw??

The model is of Muirend station on the southside of Glasgow, all the buildings are handmade to the original station plans.
As far as I know the sound chip is from Southwest Digital.
