I don't know, is it just me, or is this guy just a little too proud of himself and his very average accomplishment. Hell, my 15 year old could have done all that!
Not quite and RV... or really converted much... but I guess it works. You are going to bump into one of those light bulbs one day. Could have gone about lighting so many better ways.
@djxplizt Its just to keep the bikes dry and out of sight during travel. The lights are above head level and are not used much anyway since I added a strand of rope lights. Did not want to add a fixture or switch since it is just a cagro trailer with AC and electricity. I have a 36ft 5th wheel and a 2011 30ft travel trailer that I got last weekend, so the video was purely a joke for my family.
@SuperTerry454 Ahh haaa.. Honda 2000... Thanks! :):) Just wondered about back up for A/C for mine,, but.. my unit may be bigger/use more power. Could you check my vid and see? Pt. 1 ("Pretend RV', I think shows more of the outside. It has a regular RV A/C unit. Thanks!
I think you should've insulated it! I would add rigid foam board, just get it in 1.5"- thick sheets from any home improvement store and cut pieces to fit tightly between the framing. Use construction adhesive for bonding foam to hold it all in place.
@Thepylot78 Thought the same thing, but its really just to keep bikes in during trips and to change/stay cool after rides or races. Not camping. The AC is so large for the area it can cool it to 70 degrees with 90 degree direct sunlight anyway.
You werent messing around with that wiring !! ha ha. that thing should work underwater !! I dont know if i'd use a propane heater in there though, aren't there some off gasses to deal with ?
Windows? Camper with No Windows is like a Metal Shed! Atleast you put an A/C in that puppy..5:39 So this is a Storage FOR camping? (Im just trying to understand is all) How much the A/c run you and what BTU?
@855h0le There are no windows and the A/C is a 9000 BTU. It cost about 700 dollars and I installed myself. It is just used to spend the night during bike trips and triathlons. It also serves to keep all the gear and bikes out of the weather and from prying eyes.
Check out MINE!!! "Pretand RV" Pts. 1 & 2 (shows road ready) On my channel.. just click my name and Enjoy! :)

@Zetune79 I only use the heater while the door is open but it is for inside use. I use electric heat if I need it with the doors closed.
