yeah but heads up what kind of hand preflop is he raising with that has a 6? a straight is a hard hand to put him on. a flush is far more likely, but the overbet is a trap. overbetting stinks more of a bluff than a value bet. the 55 call isn't that bad. he can beat something like KK that just wants to bluff (yes KK is a bluff, nothing that it beats is calling)

Because of the way he played his flushdraw, the other guy couldn't put him on that hand. That's why he got paid of big time. It was a "flushdraw in disguise". And yes this is an example of implied odds. If you just check and call towards your flush according to the pot odds you will never get paid like Ramdin in this situation.
