Camera+ is a good app but Procamera is so much better, it does all that Camera+ does and more. It boggles the mind as to why Camera+ remains in the top spot when Procamera is like Camera+ & Video+ in one app. Perhaps Camera+ being such a simplistic app appeals more to "simple" minded people. Btw, I HATE that Lightbox area where Camera+ saves your photos.

A lens can only focus on one point. What you are referring to is focus lock and exposure lock as well as white balance lock. All very important features you totally missed. Also the grid is for the rule of thirds. It helps you frame your subject (at the intersection point) to give the best overall composition. It would be great to have an updated review showing how all these features work.

Taking the picture correctly is more important than any editing features.

@ReviewAmateur no videos with this. I've used about 4 or 5 different camera apps, this one beats them all hands down. I like Flair and Miniatures (for tilt shift) for video. And the iPhone 4 shoots in HD, which is good enough.

@ReviewAmateur I can only tell you the ones that I use with success. They are: Film Director, Flair, Miniatures, TiltShift Video, and Vlix. They all do quite different stuff. I like them all for what they do.

Good review. However, I believe you are mistaken about the dual focus feature. It's not dual focus, rather one finger touch controls the focus and the second finger touch controls the exposure.

Camera+ is definitely the best camera app available. Glad that it's back in even though version 2 removes the features that originally got the app kicked out of the iPhone app store. However, the new features more than make up for the loss.

@txmoney Correct, HOWEVER I didn't want to confuse people! It ACTS like a duel auto focus BECAUSE if something is focused in up close then something in the background would be blurred out! BUT when you focus and then control the exposure, it appears as if BOTH are focused on!

False information is always more confusing than no information. This review is very confusing and misleading. Learn about focus, exposure lock and white balance. Then come back with an accurate review.

@mayhempk1 Secret code that allowed the app to use the volume buttons to snap the picture. Apple does not allow any app to alter the original features of the iPhone.
