Most of you guys are wrong. The developers said that you will play as Ezio and Altair in revelations? If you have been a fan since the beginning you will know that Altair is the first assassin. Ezio travels to Masayaf ( where the assassins creed game took place ) to find out that it is taken over by the templars. While there he encounters the spirit of Altair. Altair then shows Ezio visions of Altair's time.

ac brotherhood was ac 3. there was just no need to get rid of ezio yet because he was too badass for one and plus desmond developed with that memory line. but in ac 2 you had a flash back of how the line with altair was broken, he did that maria chick or whoever and once the seed had been fertilized that is where the memory of the previous assassin ends. so i predict in ac 4 you will be ezio and finally bang a girl and get her prego. end of ezio. prob be in american or french revolution. or WWII

Any revolution is a bad setting guys. It has guns, automatic, machine, bullet spitting portable guns. That, that defeats the whole purpose of the game. Or do you want another "wanted, weapons of fate"? You're missing the big, greek/roman, gods, adam and eve, conspiracies, pieces of eden, back to greece times picture.

Assassin's Creed 3 (Brotherhood) is the upcoming game. It continues upon Ezio Auditore's memories. It however does something rather unique. It sports a Multi player component, One mode showcased in a E3 videos shows the gameplay mechanics of only one of the many modes and eight of the characters.

Take example from a lobby of two, One needs to assassinate a target, And the other needs to prevent this from happened. Suffice to say, There are two teams of assassin's. Templars and Assassin's

I dont get it, why does Desmond go back to play as his ansester anyway when it is all animated. It doesnt make sense. He cannot change anything or make anything different by just playing a game.

By "playing" the game, Desmond is learning how to become an assassin, like in the beginning of AC2, when Lucy and Desmond flees from the lab, Desmond "uses" Eagle Vision to break the code. By "playing" the game, Desmond starts to become an Assassin himself.

i hope AC3 isn't set in modern times, I really enjoy the old world settings of the last games. Even though its a good premise to have the creed exist into the WW2 period, there's been way too many ww2 games. They couldn't really bring anything new to the setting, even if they followed the story of some 1940 spec-op assassin character instead of a regular soldier

i guess the revolution wouldn't be so bad, but that would mean that all events regarding the templars in that time period would have to be contrived, or were they also contrived in AC2? I don't remember how long the Templars existed in the real world.

@Fenyx6 WW2 hasn't really been touched in the last few years; only in like 2000-2003 was it ever really popular.

Most WW2 games also only do generic German villages and Omaha beach; you have Pacific Islands; you have Italy; you have all kinds of other lands to explore.

WW2 has also never been done with AC style of gameplay, most WW2 games are RTS or FPS.

This game was more intense and awesome then the first. I just finished it a couple hours ago, and for the first time in years I can actually say within its small life time, the game has one of the most interesting story lines I've ever seen in a game. The ending actually gave me shivers, not too many games that make you start thinking about all that sort of stuff. (The vault mission)

I'm a major game critic, and I would give it a solid 10/10.
