  • These guys are spot on. They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I think that if Syd and Rick would come back from the dead and see these guys, they would smile. For all intents and purposes, they may be smiling from heaven as I write.

  • Really awesome! one cannot compare everything to the original work but you guys were bang on !!

P.S. Any plans of playin' in India?

  • not to bad...but i dont like...

  • no on you

  • 5/5 exellent work

  • great cover, great song

  • Does anyone know about the song Syd wrote about himself, called "vegetable man?" It was too close to home at the time, and it wasn't released.

  • Ya, Syd wrote it about himself.

  • syds music was way ahead oh its time.classman pure class

  • Pink Floyd wrote "Dogs"

  • Esto es realmente, pasión por Syd

    Felicitaciones a todo el grupo.

    Son fantásticos!

    5 estrellas!

  • Can you blame Roger Waters for writing such a great song as this. His inspiration is having grown up with and being in the presence of definitely one of the most important writers, (astonishing skill with words) and innovative guitarists from any genre of music. The inimitable Syd Barrett.

  • I discovered PF in the Summer of '69 at a frat party. It was Ummagumma. I was blown away! Sadly, Syd wasn't with the band by then. I also heard Syd's earlier influences on Astronomy Domine and Intersteller Overdrive. Equally powerful tunes. See Emily Play & Arnold Layne were OK but very British Pop sounding. I still own most of their albums and CDs, DVDs, etc.. I've seen them perform LIVE with & w/o Roger a dozen times. They're great. But their passion for Syd made them greater by his absence.

  • I think this is the best of Floyds song, without Syd.

Back in 70's, I went to a disk store to hear the new Pink Floyd album, after long period of time, but instead of it I heard a masterpiece.

Astonished I was, I asked for the name of this song. It was "Shine On you crazy diamond" the new PF album.

  • yes! i love this syd barrett is the man

  • great!!

  • you wrong gabetcv15

  • One of the best covers I've ever heard, let alone live. Great job guys. Truly showed this song the respect it deserves.

  • barrett and waters are the real floyd

  • what about the great SYD?

  • god job!

  • Syd Barrett was a great and memorable part of pink floyd's beginging, we all share great respect for him and so we played this song in his memory.

pink floyd was always big and always will be, at least in our hearts.

    peace, colitis.

  • eeeeh... seriously.. what??

  • Amazing. All you guys got it goin' on. Damn near perfect cover of this incredible old Floyd tune.

  • tré bonne travaille mé pas commme les pink les mec!!!!

  • siempre hay algun/a gilipollas gritando en la parte más suave de los conciertos

  • Nice cover. Sounds a ton lke the pulse version. Excellent.

I <3 playing this song but doing it in a band would be hard and even alone yeah. NICE JOB.

  • i can't believe how great you guys covered this song. i'm jealous

  • Shine On you crazy diamond

    as your beautiful face

  • yeah well they always ripped him off ..hmmmm

  • see u on the darkside of moon. matt levario

  • that was PERFECT! dude you sound like David Gilmour. and the band sounds exactlly like FLOYD. next time cover echoes. you probably would nail that one easy.

  • He may not want to sound like Gilmour on this song. Waters sings it on the record.

  • syd barrett was beautiful

  • syd non ti scorderemo mai

  • Brillad en Vuestro Ser Loco Diamante

  • Good interesting tribute. R.I.P Syd. Phylliss S told me a lot about you.

  • la tua stella continuera a brillare

  • la tua stella continuera a brillare

  • la tua stella continuera a brillare

  • syd la tua stella continuera sempre a brllare fra di noi

  • Shine on Syd Barrett, Rest in Peace

  • Amazing. Sounds great, just like the real thing. Maybe better, cuz all the other live videos of floyd perfomances have terrible sound and urs has great sound quality.

  • Good video, LJB from Detroit.

  • i have that poster, its awesome

  • Now that I am over the colitis thing, I need to say that ya'll did a good job with the tribute. I would not know the difference between your performance and Floyd's. I think you should take it on the road for a Crohn's/Ulcerative Colitis benefit. Crohnies love Floyd and people need to be more aware of inflammatory bowel disease. In the past fifty years, it has increased in incidence dramatically. Shine on, you crazy gastro-boys.

  • There is actually a band called COLITIS? Groovy. My daughter will greatly appreciate that -- she has ulcerative colitis and spent a month in the hospital this year. We both associate Pink Floyd with the illness and so do her doctors.

  • She is giving her docs each a Pink Floyd button as token of appreciation for her care. Floyd was somehow a very Crohns/Colitis kind of band. Gastroenterologists really love Floyd. She had a sigmoidoscopy with Floyd playing in the treatment room. She greatly enjoyed it.

  • rip

  • RIP Syd.
