The electrics from the single battery powers the gyro instruments while soaring. But I have since rewired this, to save battery power, it now switches off when engaging the soaring bus. Now, only the Vario and radio are powered. Andrew (owner)

Are those gyro instruments electric? I'm assuming as they seem to be operating in absence of the engine xD Do you run a seperate battery? Ever had any problems with failure during flight because the backup battery died?

The aircraft is beautiful but better than that is the thrill and joy you see in your daughter's face and in her laughter. What a wonderful way to share aviation with our youth and especially when you can do so with your own child. It is a wonderful expression of the thrill and beauty of flight.
