If you have an excellent tube amp like a Dr Z, why would need an overdrive pedal. Cant you get great overdrive from just the amp. Sorry I'm a newbie

maybe he just wants a different sound, or to thicken the tone up a little. I use a grunge pedal in front of my JCM900's clean channel to get brutal solid state distortion AND a warm tube overdrive. gets a little noisy at high volumes, though.

Not bad OD at all (although too many knobs get me confused... - Great ODs are always simple IMHO).

But I have to comment on the camera spot. I hated that I could not read the indications on the knobs. We got to see what you're doing man!
