Is this going to be in the 2.55:1 aspect ratio? I'm hoping only the trailer has the edges cropped ff like this. If this is how the film is presented, I'm not sure if I'll by it.

At this point, it's unknown. But I think it'll probably be released in the original aspect ratio. After all, Sleeping Beauty had the same aspect ratio, and the Blu-ray was done correctly for that film. I think the only Disney animated films we need to worry about regarding aspect ratio are 101 Dalmatians to The Fox and the Hound, which have been released in both widescreen and fullscreen, despite fullscreen being technically correct.

Sorry Disney but I am not feeling the music in this trailer... or Cinderella's Diamond release either. The trailers for Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Pinocchio, Beauty and the Beast, and particularly Dumbo were all EPIC and nostalgic. This song makes it look like a cheesy direct to video sequel. I get excited about every new release expecting the upcoming Diamond edition trailers, but these were a let down :(
