Excellent..watching Robo go to town on those creatures was priceless..I liked the use of Emil in his toxic sludge monster mode at the end there.  I think the only thing missing was having Robocop firing his Cobra Assault Cannon and blowing a shitload of the undead to bits..

This is great and I'm glad somone else had this idea. I am fascinated with RoboCop and zombies for similar reasons. They're both living dead, but robo has much of is brain still intact, and what's more, his body is computer assisted. So when I see Day of the Dead, I cannot help but imagine using zombies as chasis for AIs (I guess this would be a cheap Terminator)

It also funny how they contrast yet compare. Robo is a brain without a body, whereas the zombies are bodies without much brains. So RoboCop is a living machine whilst Zombies are organic robots.

Again, whatch the first Day of the Dead with "Bud", the tamed zombie feebly calling his wife on the tellephone and then the beginning of RoboCop 2 (with Robo staulking his wife). They are both men who lost their humanity, but some still lingers.
