Try putting the dough in the loaf pan so it is only about 1/3 full. Let it rise until the dough is 1-2 inches above the top of the pan(how long really depends on your yeast). Then slash the dough (for this shape of bread just make a 1/4 inch deep cut lengthwise across the dough) and bake it. It might puff up a little bit more when you bake it. Hope this helps!
