How big have you made this? Are there any scale limitations?

That would be a null zone... Wouldn't it? I believe that has already been discovered...

Null zone, yes. First implementation of it with a coil of steel wire and magnets, called a Cook Coil happened by me years ago.

Don't know who first discovered it using other means or when. Possibly with a superconductor in the 70's or 80's.

Hmm it looks like a beryllium disk to me. Hehe or it is a magnet somehow being levitated like you say. Cool vid. :-)

Of course it's a magnet as I say, a ceramic magnet to be specific. I've never even laid hands on a beryllium disk.

I tried to get vertical and horizontal stability of the free magnet together, it Almost worked! :( Can you give me a hint how to come close to free Levitation? :)
