@Maaguaa well in the video i messed up but before hand i practiced with no targets just the form cause its half of a kata with some of my own stuff added but 2 attempts to get it perfect (cutting the target at least)

Hanwei's good and all, but Ryumon and Musashi are definitely cheaper. If you're looking for a new katana anytime soon (I always am, since I collect), I'd recommend the Ryumon Double Edged katana; by all outward appearances, it looks like a normal katana, but it has an edge on the back in addition to the front, but without that annoying spear point you find on the Cold Steel model. Also, no offense, but the whole American samurai (combining hakama with a T-shirt) is kinda funny to me.

the only reason i wore it like that was because my top was really bloody >_> but yes i was thinking about a cheness kaze or the bamboo ryumon but i found out that ryumon uses sand blasting for the hamon so i tend to go for paul chen type blades such as hanwei and cheness plus i have a friend with a very close relation so i can get it hella cheap
