  • great

  • @hano2424 Thx :-)

  • hey Erik fantastic, but i wana see this working....where is the 2nd video

    Cheers..

  • I saw your video and I am loved by greece

  • @59jimakos Hey

I'm glad you liked it :-)

    Greetings from Belgium

    Erik

  • Would like to see it in action.good vidio

  • @dundeeste checkout my other videos

There are 2 videos where you can see it spin

    cheers

    Erik

  • hey does it produces electricity please replay my message

  • @gale690 Hehe, yes but it needs plenty of wind but then it works great

    Greetings

    Erik

  • @gale690 How much voltage does it output?

  • @07718564 Open voltage is about 25 volts or so

When a battery is connected it goes to 14 or 15 volts

    Greetings

    Erik

  • thank you

  • I loved the video. very good job. but if you have some heat shrink you should rlly put that heat shrink on those loose wires. but fantastic job. But is this meant to be a generator or something. if so how can i get electricity out of this??

  • @niplapla Hey, thx for your nice comment.

Dc motors work both ways, if you put electricity in or when you spin it electricity comes out

This motor is a dc motor and there for produces electricity when you spin it

You should try it out with a motor :-)

    Greetings from Belgium

    Erik

  • @rikkiesix Thx, i will. does it matter ether the motor is out-runner or in-runner, or brushless or brushed. because i have a spare brushless out-runner motor from my RC helicopter. will that work?

  • @niplapla Hey, i don't think it matters. Ofcourse a motor from a Rc helicopter will not give much output. Let me know how it went ok?

    Good luck

    Greetings

    Erik

  • @rikkiesix OK

k thx. But the motor is pretty big. not as big as urs on the vid but decent. It wont let me copy a link but its a motor from a Trex 550e. not the sstock motor but it looks the same and same size. just more kv's

  • i loved it and i don't have the equipment :(

  • @minecraftfre Thats a pity my friend

    Its really fun to make

Maybe some friends have some tools you use?

    Greetings

    Erik

  • it was very infomative not boring at all.

  • Hello my friend! I want to make one wind turbine generator for my cottage.Could you advice me something? Can i use an alternator from a car?Do i have to change something on it due to the RPM?Because i can't reach the normal RPM.Do i have to put reduction gears?Where else i can find a motor? From A/C,washing machine.....? I want 12volts for my batteries.I have the inverter, batteries, and some other things. But the main is the wind generator!thank you very much!!!!Nick!!!

  • If i don't have the blade then what to use??? plzz advise.....

  • windkraftanlage-ersatzteile.beepworld.de

  • can you put a list of ALL the materials ever needed to build this thing somewhere cause I want to build one and I need to know what to get beforehand, thanks.

  • thank you for the video and for sharing your time with us.

  • @carr869 Your very welcome

    Greetings

    Erik

  • umm, umm, umm, umm, umm you say it too much but good vid thumbs up

  • @iguana5678 I'l try to do that less next time

    Thx for the comment

    Erik

  • bro it's really cool , if posibale can u explane how to convert 3phase into 1 phase ac

  • @viniin143 Hi there

Thanks for your comment, i have no idea how to do that.

Maybe someone else here can help you with that.

Hope you will find a answer, good luck

    Greetings from Belgium

    Erik

  • @viniin143

You need to make a circuit that will convert a 3 phase to 1 phase

  • @viniin143

you need a bridged rectfier which is basically a diode on each of the thrre phases and are bridged into one output wire. Pardon my poor explanation.

  • liked the vid, although, the word, '' um!! '' is slightly annoying.

  • @deathnote667 Yeah, sorry about that :-)

    Greetings from Belgium

    Erik

  • thanks really helped me on a science porject

  • @guptabrandon I'm glad i was able to help you my friend

    Greetings from Belgium

    Erik

  • great vid,

always good to see other peoples ideas,

built my first wt last week,it needs a gear so going to have to rebuild from scrach almost.

does anyone know if i can wire my turbine and solar panel through one controller?i have done but having problems charging batteries.

  • @crsbt I think its possible if it can take the amperage

You should check your specs of your controller.

    Good luck

    Greetings from Belgium

    Erik

  • @rikkiesix

it says 10amps so should be ok.

i wouldnt of started my project if i knew how little power they produce!!

ordered some solar panels to make sure,,thanks.

  • Oh you are so adorable.

  • @ThankyouWilliam thanks :-)

  • Good build. I hope you completed your project or are in current transaction to do so. Peace and Progress to you.

  • @laztek1 We completed it and its been on my uncles roof for a few months

The turbine needs a bit too much wind to work well.

In places with a lot of wind this turbine work beautifully.

    Greetings from Belgium

    Erik

  • @rikkiesix

    Thanks for the response:

That is the wave of the future we are on. Congrats on some success on your mission. I was thinking maybe try some weights on the ends of the blade could help your distress. We use counter weights on our Newman Motor axles to cause the motion to have greater force equaling speed and torque. Maybe it could help but I am building a different type of machine so I'm not sure it can work- but it may?

  • So does an electric motor produce electric when spun I am curious I want to make one for a project but don't have generators only regular motors

  • @timniebuhr27 Hey, Dc motors do produce electricity when you spin them. Test it with a volt meter on the contacts of the motor and then spin it. You will see the voltage go up.

Good luck with your project my friend

    Greetings from Belgium

    Erik

  • Great vid!!! Ummmmmmmmmmmmm for the poor, ummmm!

  • Hey Eric very nice video. Do u know where and how I can get the same dc motor or smaller dc motor? If u know any stores or any devices I can get the motor from plz answer back. I'm doing a senior project and planning on building models like yours. Plz answer and comment back. :)

  • @MrTryZtan Hey I bought this Dc motor from a guy out of thailand He said he got the motor out of the outside unit from a airconditioning. Not so easy if you need several motors. pity. Are motors from older sewing machines not also dc motors? I'm not sure You need a dc motor that does not have to spin fast to generate 12 volt or more. I hope you will find what your looking for. I'm happy there are people who want to copy my design. Good luck. If you have more questions pls ask. Greetings Erik
  • hey Erik,

I went through all of your videos, but this video is most informative. But then again I didn't see "the complete thing". I mean the controller circuit and the battery attachment are the real part, I guess.

If you have sometime please upload the video how to make a controller circuit.

By the way thanks for the video.

    Cheers

  • ummm ....ahummmm ummmmm umm ummmm

  • no being a jerk but you say umm a lot

  • is the dc motor waterproof, you said it was for an outside air conditioner? TKS

  • @walkertongdee The guy ( a guy from thailand ) i bought the motor from told me it comes out of a outside unit of a airconditioner.

    I don't think its waterproof. :-)

    Greeetings from Belgium

    Erik

  • does it produce electricity

  • @RandyOrton12347 Yes, it does produce good electricity.

Check out my channel where you can see more videos about this turbine

    Thx for your comment

    Greetings from Belgium

    Erik

  • @rikkiesix hey,how do you powered it up? can a super powerful battery turn it on?

  • @mrmanpower22 The turbine charges the battery, not the way around.

    Greetings

  • your video is not boring. ;) sorry i'm posting too much comments ;D

  • @arnoldaszlt Hey man, thanks for all your comments. its flattering. I learned english from chatting on the computer and watching tv when i was younger, The A-Team and Macgyver. hehe

No your not posting to much. :-)

I'm really excited that you like this turbine.

Hope to see your turbine soon.

    Greetings from Belgium

    Erik

  • and i want say, your english is so good,i can't talk that much time than you... ;)

  • THANK YOU!!! I"M GONNA MAKE A TURBINE and make video!!!!

  • Very nice video and I will do the same soon. Thx for sharing.

  • @kotheinwin Thx for your comment. When you start on your windmill make some sort of video about it too.:-)

    Greetings from Belgium

    Erik

  • Make it bigger!! :))

  • @MrJerryanderson Hehe, we might do that in the future. :-)

    Thx for your comment

    Greetings

    Erik

  • Very nice. Thank you for sharing.

  • @jab0805 Thx man and your very welcome. :-)

    Cheers

    Erik

  • Nice job on the video.I cant wait to see it in flight.TAKE CARE

  • @michael970 Thx buddy, i really want to see it sit high up and spin too. very exciting :-)

    Greetings

    Erik

  • Way to go. Better than a Windmax because you built it yourself. With the type of blade you have you can use it as a lawnmower if you hold it vertically :))

  • @wtam69 Thx for the nice words. I think that would work cause these blades have very narrow sides. :-)

  • good experimental set up.

  • @Den0Q Thx man. :-)
