  • DC is a constant voltage in one direction. The force stays the same, and it's always negative on one side pushing toward pos. Since electricity is the electromagnetism moving at the speed of light along the wire, and not the electrons (which are only scooting along much more slowly), DC is kinda hard to understand. If you suddenly push on a slinky, you see a wave travel along the slinky. That's how electrical energy travels along a wire in AC. So what's the deal with DC?

  • Those animal electrocutions by Edison makes one question his character more than prove his point.

    Thanks for posting these videos.

  • the question of AC and DC was really good, I got a clue about it.

  • I like your videos.

  • interesting lecture..wondering if anyone know what is the song at the song at the end?

  • You are right, I am removing the Elephant footage in when we re-edit this program.

  • @tvecourse Don't remove it. It's very interesting to see it. And that way I don't have to search it myself if I'm interested in seeing it..

  • @tvecourse Please keep the footage so that those who are in touch with their inner feelings will never tread that path again.

  • Paper capicitor...I have never seen one before...in person...good video
