WOW . . i think this short is just fantastic. I love the direction and the raw and honest performances of the actors. I would love to see this short film developed into a feature film. .. Does any1 know if it has been?
The build up to the TENSION created is amazing. Starting at 2:10 with flicking noses, zippers, etc. Sean tilts his head, leans in twice. For over a minute with no dialogue, SO much is communicated.
I love that Derek tries to talk to Sean when Sean is walking away (twice), shows he has NO idea of what Sean's world is like. That's very honest.
Do you think that Sean read something in Derek's journal that would lead him to pursue his feelings? or is he just incredibly brave?

What do you think Sean meant when he wrote on the window? liking Derek? or just being gay?
What do you think Derek's shoulder shrug meant?
I read somewhere that writing on the car window wasn't in the script, but decided at the shoot, b/c of the opportunity.
