@nein1ives I know, i saw it on Nergals wikipedia page so i thought to check it out, im really surprised that other songs from this band are also really good :D
It keeps metal interesting, fresh and good when bands can actually pump out, and consistently so, some heavy, melodic at parts, intricate and well produced metal.
At 1st I did not care for this band when I heard them on youtube. I saw their live show I got into them. It was kinda like when I heard Sentenced and didn't like them but I saw them live it clicked.
I saw their drummer live a couple months ago. He IS a human drum machine. It blew my mind. Open your mouth when you know what the fuck you're talking about.
The leadsinger definitely needed to shower when i saw them. He stunk like a motherfucker... They were okay, not better than Augury, or Decrepit Birth, or Vader...
@SymbioticMonarch No, I never did once think that. He smelled like ass from the beginning of their set. So he obviously hadnt taken a shower beforehand. Maybe the use of deodorant in Australia isnt too prevalent...or something.
@SymbioticMonarch Haha, yeah man. I'm sure touring takes it's toll on some bands. I could see how it would be hard to shower everyday in between all the practicing/driving/merch selling etc. I mostly was blaming his odour on that fact :). BTW - what part of Australia? I love your country's underground scene these days. Portal, Ignivimous, Impetuous Ritual, Vomitor, Destroyer 666 etc etc...it doesnt get much better than that :D
Meet these guys on the recent Monsters of Death Tour, i had never heard of them.
I had 15 bucks left for food but i said fuck that and picked this CD up, I"am thoroughly impressed with this album! Very sick and tinged with industrial tones.
Outside the venue some people were talking shit, "what the hell did we just see???" that wasn't death metal... i kind of chuckled and went along with the flow, guess they don't like new things on the plate... because i will take first servings of that shit
Saw them Saaturday night, Against The Grain in Adelaide. After understanding that a Special Forces unit had NOT taken to the stage, we the crowd were unmercilessly bludgeoned! Most impressed, and I'm sure they have more fans after that intense, and at times theatrical performance! More, thanks
Saw these guys live waaaaay back in the day, at the Lion's Den in Brisbane. These guys are absolutely insane. I've never seen anything like them, you're physically numb after seeing them, that's how intense their shit is. Fucking amazing.
I completely agree with you. I saw the Amenta with vader/decrepitbirth/augry and quite frankly, nothing compared to the intense feelings i got from listening to The Amenta. They made Vader look boring. There was an overpowering hatred in the air.. gad, nothing can explain how crazy the energy is at one of their shows.
id prefer the truly talented people to stay underground for the music and not the fame, and have true fans put the effort of searching for the amazing music and not have mtv or fuse to show them whats good :]
@dennasaurr the thing about that though is you cant be selfish about it either you know? i mean yeah for a band to stay underground is cool but if the band really deserves to be known because they do kick ass then what are we to say that they shouldnt get that recognition. now if the band gets a little famous then sells out ( dimmu borgir ) then thats a different story.
@BlackHeartMetal666 Try going to Encyclopaedia Metallum and clicking the random band button until you find a band you like. I've discovered hundreds of awesome underground bands on there.
good on you man. I really want to see this band. Im sick of all those meat head psycho-wanna be death acts growing like mushrooms these days. There is something original about this band, wihch i really adimre
Exactly what I felt. I still love my Cannibal, Suffocation and Morbids but goddamn it, I'm tired of Necro-clones. This is AWESOME, a breath of quality fresh air. New structures, intense and BRUTAL. Awesome use of the keys....
i'm praying they make a new video and we see some live footage soon. i also wish they'd update their site with new lyrics and other content - i need more of them.
If I was a man, I would have a boner right now.
