I will try to put together the install video this weekend. I ended up taking out my amp and building a custom extended wire harness and relocated the stock radio in the glovebox. It now gives me control of the stock amps again for the shaker 500 and hits much harder. I didn't feel like putting more money into buying a sub and another amp. I'm putting in an actuator soon and the iPad slot will then be motorized but the design for now is still holding up perfectly. Thanks for the intrest!
JL volume control is again at soundmancaraudio (dot com). If you have an aux input in your stereo this site has pretty much everything you need. I am actually taking my amp out and putting my radio in the glovebox. It fits nice there. The issue I have with the shaker 500 is I can't control the stock amps (turn the bass up) and the speakers sound very clear with the mods and highs from the amp, but lost bass. I don't want to spend more money putting a sub in the rear.
No I took the radio out and ran it through the amp in the video. The amp puts out 50 watts to the speakers as opposed to say 15 from the head unit. Huge difference in the quality of sound. If I want to listen to a radio I just plug in my phone for I heart radio or pandora. Or just jailbreak your iPhone and use myfi app and Internet is pulled to the iPad from your phone. I may get a personal radio that goes on an armband or something and inlay it in the dash. Thanks for checking it out! It

Go to soundmancaraudio (dot com) and click on the store and go to iPad install parts. You can't post links on YouTube for some reason.

Bounty: go to sonix electronics and search for JBL GT5-A604. It was the best price I could find.

It's hard wired. There is a dock I built into the end of the case. When you slide the iPad in it automactally docks and gives power and audio.
