  • Very nice, good training! Lovely, solid beauties.

  • They're a Beautiful pair ;]

  • Proper london driving :)

  • Greetings from a friesian island. We have no cars here and all transportation etc. is done by horsepower. I have seen a lot of trustfull teamwork between horses and drivers but your work is amazing. Especially the part from 4:41 and on. I love how they listen to you. Great.

  • Now, this is how I want to get to the shops. Would make picking up the groceries much more enjoyable.

  • This is so cool!!!

  • What beauties! And I can tell you treat them with love and affection!

  • Many of your horses are extremely calm! are they gelded? if so, can un-gelded stallions be as calm, yet active, in traffic?

  • @OneMinTuts We break stallions too - if you go to our Youtube channel there are several videos of stallions doing exactly the same thing as this pair. Also the video titled "Hammerhead on a roof-seated break" shows 5 4-year-old Friesian stallions; they were trained to do commercial work so yes they can be calm in traffic and work together happily.

  • This is incredible. Beautiful pair, thanks for sharing this experience!!

  • Absolutely brilliant pair there ! What a grand job you do with them I must say I admire your work very much ,takes a lot to get to that standard of calmness and trust.Looks like Farnham near where my sister lives !!Wish I had a cart ,I am starting an Appaloosa cob at the mo ,to ride, but the older I get the more I like the idea of driving him !

  • ..as an undertaker i'd hire you and your pair in a flash. ... get yourself a marsden hearse!!

  • @AndreyaPolo Thank you for your comment - we do provide a funeral service; if you watch our other video "Four-in-hand funeral" you can see a turnout we provided for Chris White funeral directors in Salisbury. We have other videos on here of Friesians that have gone on to do commercial work - all our horses are trained to the same standard whether they work commercially or just for pleasure driving. If you want further information please feel free to call us.

  • I enjoyed watching this video very much. I was a bit worried for you a few times, but I really liked it!

  • GOD!! I LOVE Friesians!!!!!

  • Very nice!! Your horses are raised well :)

    A belgian blacksmith

  • @antoine620 Very true. Look like they are enjoying themselves too. A day out on the town is a good thing even if it's the trip to the grocery store. Although drivers in the USA don't watch where they are going sometimes, it still makes me happy that people like him preserve old traditions. I think I could get away with a horse and buggy in Brunswick, GA.

  • you do such a great job!!! and they are so beautiful!

  • do you live in Austrailia or Great Britain

  • @kansaswoman87 We are based in Hampshire in the UK.

  • r u in Austraila or Great Britian

  • well behaved horses.city people today don't realize that everything can be a monster to horses.they look well matched too since the left one held steady when the other broke into a canter.our driving club has a desensitizing clinic every year and you have given me some ideas.i'm impressed ....

  • IDIOT BOY from SUPERMARKET!!!

  • @hanaippon We asked him to do that with the trolley to show that the horses were unfazed by such an unusual noise close to them. Everything we do with the horses is done for a reason and our aim is to produce horses that are safe, happy and confident in any sphere of harness work. This pair of horses have gone on to do commercial work, so needed to experience a variety of situations that they could encounter when on a job.

  • Fantastic! Can hardly wait for my team to get this far with their training.

  • I can't believe that trucker almost ran you guys off the road!!! WTF? (I had that problem too in Atlanta when I drove carriages there. Good god! Bad drivers are all over the world, eh?) Again... after watching this entire clip, I am super impressed with your work and your results! The obstetrical course was also equally impressive. Do you train camels too? LOL (I got one in my backyard who's needing to get broke!)

  • @MasterKeyKeeper: Thank you for your comments; it is great to know what people think of our videos so thanks for taking the time to comment. Regarding your camel - if you were in the UK we would be glad to give it a try!

  • IMPRESSIVE WORK~! Especially with the grocery cart! What a beautiful team any driver would be proud to own and show off in town!

  • this man is a genius with horses, total pleasure to watch and learnt me some new tricks

  • Barry did a great job on these two. They now live life to the full earning their own keep and enjoying the Wiltshire countryside.

If you want to see more of them go to the Poseapony channel where some of their work has been displayed. Oh - and in one clip you get to see Barry in a top hat - very dapper!

Thanks for all your hard work Barry and your continued support. (Graham & Elaine - new owners).

  • Too bad more folks don't train their horses like that. Lots of kind words and encouragement from the driver. Good job !!!!

  • such brave horses ive ever come across

  • bloody hell that was scary when that massive lorry got so close to you well done boys

  • I'm so impressed! They are my favorite driving breed. You did a wonderful job. Do you live in the u.s. I had a standerbred I bought off the track. He was good the first summer Not spooky but I boarder him for the winter and when I came back in the spring I had a different horse. I tried working it out of him but was afraid I'd get hurt. I'm a 64 yr. old woman and he was just to much for me so I sold him. Still love to drive, its in my blood.

  • You have given this team great confidence. They are safe and happy, and so is the driver. Well done indeed!

  • Wow, very nice pair of well trained horses.

  • just great!!! is the black top hard on there hoofs?

  • What good boys! They aren't even frightened by that shopping cart. Well done!

  • how could you afford such beautifle famouse breed horses!

I would have to save my saving my whole life before i could buy those beautifle breeds.
