Wikipedia does not work like that. People adding fake stuff in Wikipedia will get slammed by Wikipedia. Fake stuff is removed or reverted by Wikipedian editors. And if you vandalize an article there, you will get a warning. Continue to vandalize an article there, and you will get blocked.

In fact, some articles there are put on lock for a while so that they cannot be vandalized. Stuff in Wikipedia is supposed to be sourced, anyway; that's why most of their articles (the good ones or sort of decent ones) have references sections, so that you can check everything or some of what is stated there. If there is something questionable there that does not have a source attributed to it, then that is the only time you should not trust Wikipedia.

I've been checking Aubrey O'Day's Wikipedia article for weeks now and have not seen mention of her joining the Pussycat Dolls there. If it was there, it was fake, which is why it was removed...if it was there. And I cannot see Aubrey wanting to join the Pussycat dolls, anyway, knowing how much she would be in the background and would not get to sing lead on any songs.

I have never "vandalized" an article on wikipedia, i just know that everytime i do an assignment for school, my teachers always say not to trust wikipedia, b/c people go in and add fake stuff to the articles

I'm just saying that fake stuff being added to Wikipedia is not a problem most of the time, and especially not if you go to the well-sourced articles there. Every questionable thing there should be attributed to a reference, meaning that a number, such as [1], [2], etc should be beside anything that is questionable or that can be contested. Those numbers will take you to the references section, where what is stated is proven true.
