Sometimes when you are too occupied with work, you will have the tendency to neglect the Nitty-gritty of your practice. You forgot the basic...the essential. And taking a break from the crazy schedule, routine and pressure is a "breather"...a good way to re-think your approach and improve.
To see you in all that sunshine when we have forecasts of thunderstorms here in Ohio this week is making me yearn for April when I could attend the Private Practice Retreat. More importantly, I will be on vacation while doing something important for our clinic.I know I will be leaving our clinic in capable hands but still I worry.
Perhaps after the retreat, I will find it easier taking time off from work,
Great idea Nitin. I always feel great after taking a vacation from work. I haven't tried attending a conference during a vacation though. I would love to try that idea out!
Yes i definitely agree. Many professionals rarely notice the importance of having a break from everything. Even as we simply speak, we usually do pauses and breaks. That is why there is a comma and a period. The same with work, all of it without any recreation makes you dull. it hinders you from enjoying the reason why we work, that is to be able to pursue our dreams and enjoy, and one way of these is having a vacation trip. Oh but how i wish my savings could also bring me to places like that!
You are right in saying that as a private practice owner, one must know how to take a break once in awhile from our businesses because it does not only helps relax our mind and unwind but it also makes our mind open to more ideas to improve our businesses. I can't wait to have my vacation in the future. =)
I totally agree Nitin...
