The circuit is essentially identical, but the silicon diodes give it a harsher sound. I'll try to put up a demo with the Germanium version soon.

Also, I recorded this with the direct out from my bass amp, so it sounds a bit different than the actual sound off the speaker. I suppose I really do need to make a new one.

im with you 1969thewho , id like to see the setting which is meant to sound like a Univox? what i heard sounded like a wierd fuzzy squarewave octave synth hehe very cool tho
