Banished Beyond at the 2009 WGI World Championships

Don't get me wrong when I say this, I think Banished is amazing and he's great, but what makes him significant and popular from all the other drummers out there? Is it because of his character? Is he someone famous? Is his drumming unique from the rest? He seems like a normal experienced drummer. Don't get me wrong Banished, you're fantastic, I just don't understand why you have significant popularity as opposed to all the other percussionists' on YouTube..

I doubt he's only marched one corps. He may age out in a year or two and he's really good. We went to the Dayton Finals last year with our percussion ensemble and won in the Percussion Scholastic Concert Open class. We were inside while he was at the Pearl booth I believe or we had just gotten there.
