I was fortunate to try this back in 2006 and meet the great Abdul latif Lord Of Harpole. I will be doing the Curry Hell again Next Month and hope I can get it recorded as I did last time. People who have tried it before his Son took it over probably will get a suprise as it's been cranked up a lot more it'll be more of a beast to get through see Metro News link in google
dude these indian restaurants are jus taking you guys for a ride..they are making money simply by making you guys think that indian food is some kind of challenge or something...thats not true...if you come to india jus eat at a regular restaurant..they don pretend they jus serve whats right....indian food has more good flavor to it ,not only hot chillies....
My mum and dad are from India and I've been, this meal is a challenge its hot as fuck, the only reason we went was because it was so hot and we wanted to see if my mate could handle it.
I did the curry hell challenge last night - read about it in Viz for years and it was the must-do event of my first trip to Newcastle.
It was not at all easy. I could handle the extreme heat in my mouth, it was the agony in my stomach that felt so wrong (a completely new kind of pain I've never experienced!)
Anyway - I did it and was proud to receive my certificate. Just got to get through the hot-as-lava shits now - hopefuly back to normal tomorrow!
What a bunch of homosexuals, that shit is like eating ice cream compared to what I make at home...naga, scotch bonnet,Thai birds eye chillies black pepper and dave's insanity sauce!
My friend Chris and I had the curry hell and couldnt walk home. We were ill for two days and our asses prolapsed in the morning and I've never felt pain like it. I rang NHS direct because of muscular/stomach spasms. Got the meal for free and a certificate mind.

Alot of curries in Britain are originally created in the UK like Tikka Masala etc

I love super spicy curries. You grow a tolerance to them after a while. Vindaloo and Phall are actually delicious, definitely my two favs.

@thunderdudesurya I think its sad how you post the same comment on many hot curry videos, if they want to eat a hot curry just let them.

ShuraHaidate is right. Trick is not to drink beer or cold drinks. Hot milky tea (massala tea)will get you through it :)

Just a tip, but uh, drink Milk if you really think it's that hot..
Alcohol or beer won't help, unless maybe you do the challenge while plastered.
