  • Hot cam?

  • @DIMEBAGJIMMY426 He said it was a custom ground cam from COMP.

  • Str8 Beast

  • Very nice noise :)

  • The SLP is considerably louder because there are no mufflers. Both sound good and I change from time to time

  • Beautiful! I wish all the new ones sounded this bad! Excellent job!

  • Nice

  • HOLLY CRAP.... I love it. Nice job

  • looks like a saturn or that pontiac thingy convertible on roids

  • Your use of the word "thingy" explains the rest.

  • wow absolute beast. wish i could get this sound out of my v6 lol

  • best sounding new camaro ive heard yet good work!

  • sounds like a big block! damn sounds good

  • What cam do you have?

  • It's a comp cam custom grind

  • For a second there, I was thinking your front end was going to hit your cam haha.. Awesome vid =D

  • looks and sounds awsome where did you get the SS emblem for the rear panel is it the same as the one in the grille Thanks

  • The emblems came from SLP and they were very easy to install. Makes it look a little old school and cleans up the whole look.

  • @carjunkie24 which do you like better the full kooks or the slp? and is the slp louder?

  • @Jeremey72 ooh and is this a catted h pipe or x pipe?

  • Ford mustang has a better sound. That sound is made for a Harley motorcycle.

  • I still can't get over the camaro look...it's something..that that sound shouldn't be coming from...when I hear that sound I picture an old muscle car...not this new foreign looking thing :-\ if only they redid the Camaro to look like the old one

  • @ShityThePirate <~~~ What a fuckin' dumbass. Carjunkie - pretty cool video. I like that opening shot with you backing out over the camera, getting a full underside exhaust shot. The car sounds good, but I REALLY don't like the white "SS". The style is too old to put on this new car. GM should have made this car sound half as good as yours does, and so many people would be happier with the stock exhaust.

  • @Elshubobu Your mad because I think the Camaro bares zero resemblance to the muscle of the past, and looks like a foreign piece of shit? Muscle cars are not supposed to be tiny cramped up cars, they were huge bare knuckled brawlers, any kid that knew anything about Mopar or the muscle age knows this, don't cry. It's my opinion, so you can go F*** yourself ;D

  • @ShityThePirate <~~~ What a dumb fuck hahah Look at the profiles, look at the front end. Look at the car. It is anything BUT tiny and cramped up. The 2010 Camaro is wide as and as long as a full-size short-bed pickup truck. And it will beat your Mustang or Challenger on the 1/4 mile - stock.

  • @Elshubobu Have you actually sat inside a new Camaro? If you're above 5'12 you'll be hard pressed to call it "big" as you will not fit comfortably unless the seat is all the way down. I honestly do not think you have sat in either the Mustang, or the Challenger. Yes, the Camaro is faster right now, and it will always be faster than the Challenger, but the Challenger is also significantly bigger, the new Mustang with the 400HP engine, is faster than the Camaro, stock.

  • @ShityThePirate I've sat in and driven the new Camaro SS many times. I am 5'12" - or as I like to say, 6' tall. I keep the seat all the way down, moved all the way back with my legs extended, and seat reclined to suit my long arms. I can see over the dash and out all the windows just fine. You say "you will not fit comfortably unless the seat is all the way down" - so what's the problem here? Get comfortable! Just wait for the new model V6's and V8's come out to compete with the Mustang.

  • @Elshubobu New model? They are not switching out the LS3 or L99 on the Camaro SS, it is keeping that, the new trim will have a supercharged engine from what I saw at the car show, and that's it, expect that trim to start around 40,000$ and regardless, the new Shelby will run circles around. Here's how it goes, Mustang will always be the most capable in drag, as it is lighter and can fit the same size engines, Chally slowest but clearly best looking, and the Camaro is right in the middle.

  • @ShityThePirate The Challenger is far from best looking. Mustangs are for women who want a "cool car" and men with more white hair than colored - who have more than likely owned a 60's model Mustang brand new. I would hardly call the Mustang a "huge bare knuckled brawler". It's the smallest of the three, and will whoop the other two cars up a winding mountain road, but that's about it.

  • @Elshubobu First off, you already proved you are not a fan of the old muscle era, second off, I think you are confusing the Mustang crowd with the Corvette mid-life crisis crowd, third off, I was referring to the Challenger, third off, the new Mustang destroys the Camaro 0-60 with a 4.3 0-60 dead even with the M3 and significantly better in cornering. I've driven all numerous times, and I'll be buying a Challenger, because it's big enough for a daily driver and a road trip car.

  • @ShityThePirate Whatever you say you silver-haired cock-smoker hahaha

  • @Elshubobu I'm 22...what are you, 14? And your messing up your claims again, didn't you originally say Mustang owners were the old ones? Don't know where you live, but it must be in a poor area, as I don't know many old males that would want their "pick up last chance" car to be a Mustang, it's Corvettes, Lambos and Ferrari's and Porsche's around here...but then again, I'm in Atlanta. Interesting to know the thought of smoking a cock was on your mind though ;D

  • @ShityThePirate Yeah, you must be a blonde, and hide your vag behind your sack. Go give your dad's cock a spit shine.

  • @Elshubobu Thanks for proving you lost this argument ;D

  • @ShityThePirate Ok? hahaha I've never had a good ol' Southern Boy... I bet you got soft lips... and I KNOW you talk funny too... You should come ride with me in my Camaro, take a mouthful of me and recite the alphabet. I wonder if I'll be able to hold out until "x, y and z" ;)

  • @Elshubobu Clearly you've never been in Atlanta, hardly southern, but thank you for proving my point about how closet and flaming homosexuals are radically attracted to the new Camaro ;D

  • @ShityThePirate Look at a map, cock-gobbler. Have fun getting smoked in that heavy, bulky-ass Challenger. The LORD commands you to gobble cock.

  • @Elshubobu It's a mans car, I know, I think you'll be cringing when 68% of the time you see another Camaro, it's a V-6 with a lady driving it, have fun butt fucking bumblebee. Tell me how that ass is.

  • @ShityThePirate A man's car? And OLD FART car. That's right, ShityTheButtPirate. Chicks buy the v6, just like all the Mustangs out there. And all the silver-hairs buy the Cobras to re-live the good ol' days. You should post a video of your mouth, I bet it's pretty.

  • @Elshubobu I don't think you understand, you keep bringing up the Mustang, I'm not a fan of the Camaro or Mustang, as I realized quickly, it's not all about speed, if it was I'd build a kit car for less money, with a 440 Magnum with a quarter of the weight of the Challenger. At the end of the day, can you fit 6 dead bodies in the back of your Camaro? I thought not. How is the Challenger and old mans car compared to the Camaro or Corvette? You must live on the flip side.

  • @ShityThePirate If you're not a fan of the Camaro, what are you doing checking out Camaro videos on YouTube? The trunk in the Camaro is pretty big for a 2-seater, but the opening is small. I can fit 5 midgets back there. I bought the Camaro to drive it, not to move my family across the country. I can fit a half-size ice chest and a couple bags of clothes in the back - so I'm good. My Silverado is there for me when I feel the need to haul more than clothes and beverages.

  • @Elshubobu Because I was wanting to hear the SLP Loud Mouth and this is what it sent me to :D, my thing is I generally have 2 friends in my vehicle on Fridays and Saturdays, one is 6'3, even in the front passenger seat in the Camaro, it shows how short the car is. Like I said, orignally I wanted speed, so I was going to get the Camaro, but then I realized...the next year model will be faster...and so will the mustang...and the new 6.4l Challenger...so why buy a car based on speed

  • @ShityThePirate The SLP Loudmouth sounds different on different cars. The backseat is useless in the Camaro unless you're an infant in a car seat, or a short adult with no legs. I sat back there for the first time last week, had to slouch and keep my head tilted down. But that's ok, 'cause I don't carpool. The backseat is for a backpack, or loaf of bread. I bought the Camaro because it was right between the Mustang and the Challenger.

  • @Elshubobu I don't carpool either, but I would like the option to take my car out on the days I hang with friends, rather than theirs. And I know the Loud Mouth sounds different, but I clicked anyway :D.

If I was considering a second car, maybe the Camaro would have a place, but I'd like to be able to comfortably take my vehicle on road trips with friends, and it just does not have the capability.

  • @ShityThePirate I was looking at sedans... Asian sedans... but thought about it for a year or so... I drive alone 99% of the time... and the Camaro was being released a few months down the line, so I dove on it. I think the Challenger would look better if it had longer doors. And I like that the Camaro has such a low profile.

  • @Elshubobu The only thing to me is Camaro feels more like a "tuner" car than a massive "muscle car" though the same can be said about the Mustang, I've just always loved the old vintage muscle idea of a huge car with a huge engine, but now it seems to be a slim down race, which pays off in the 0-60 market, but not in the space department. I come from only driving SUVS, so space is a big concern for me. The G-8 was an option, but now Pontiac is gone.

  • @ShityThePirate I like being able to take off fast, that's all. And I doubt that I'll ever open it up as fast as it can go. I don't measure my dick by how fast my car goes, and I wont be dumping $30k on mods to my car to make it the fastest around. No matter what you do, someone else can make a car that's faster. The Pontiacs were cool.

  • @Elshubobu That's why instead of settling for the Camaro, simply because it's faster, I'd rather settle for a bigger car that I can do more with in the long run, and we have a family friend who is a master at working on the Hemi engine, so that pays off.

  • @ShityThePirate Hopefully your friend wont have to "work" on it while you're on the road.

  • @Elshubobu Are you trying to say that the Hemi is an unreliable engine? If so, where did you gather this information? I've done my fair share of research and can't find anything debunking the reliability of the current Hemi engines.

  • @ShityThePirate No, it's just an odd thing to say.

  • @Elshubobu I should emphasize on what I meant, he is skilled at boreing out Hemi's as well as improving engine parts after supercharged, i.e. "Master of a Hemi" as he knows the ins and outs of the engine, etc.

  • @ShityThePirate Mmmm and I can't wait until "w" ;) You can say "w" all day long and I'd be fine with it

  • how did u get that prius to stop? haha

  • ahhhhhhh........... the camaro reved its engne and the prius shit a brick and then dissided to behave....

  • thats the baddest sounding camaro on here

  • i hate you!! jaja

  • Check out my exhaust on my camaro

  • sounds good now all you have to do is a little engine work and headers.

  • the V8-equipped Camaro SS delivers better numbers across the board. Chevy's Camaro SS outfitted with the 422-hp 6.2-liter LS3 V8 six-speed manual hits 60 mph in 4.9 seconds and runs a 13.4-second quarter-mile at 108 mph according to Oppenheiser. Strangely enough, Oppenheiser also claims that the automatic-equipped SS Camaro, which is rated at 400 hp, runs from zero to 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds and through the quarter-mile in 13.3 seconds. "We optimized the shift points," he said

  • The research is only as good as the researcher;

2010 Camaro quarter mile times have been dropping bit by bit as more members hit the track with their new cars. But, member speedy6963 just dropped the quarter mile times by a lot! His stock Camaro SS manual (LS3) just ran a 12.87 @ 109.08 at Cordova Dragway Park (DETAILS & VIDEO HERE).

  • Nice! the best color too.

  • I thought you were a stang guy jack.. What a shae.

  • I love Mustangs does that mean I can't love a Camaro? Who makes these stupid rules?

  • sounds good but still not as fast as ppl make them to be

  • What do you consider fast? These cars are running in the 12s bone stock, that's pretty fast compared to the competition. Have you driven one?

  • but yeah thought i would show u proof these cars run 13.6 which is ez my old notch with the top part of the motor built which had like 320 horse ran a 13.8 at 104 so its not hard

  • His stock Camaro SS manual (LS3) just ran a 12.87 @ 109.08 at Cordova Tires used on the pass: stock Performance Mods (if any): stock Category submitted for: stock 60′. 2.046 330′.. 5.562 660′.. 8.409 660 mph 86.59 1000′. 10.840 1320′. 12.874 1320 mph 109.08 Name of the track: Cordova Dragway Date of pass: 7/17/2009
