What a PERFECT scene. I loved it from start to finish. What I loved the most I guess what the fact that in both LnC:TNAOS and in Smallville, once Lois and Clark finally admitted their love to each other, it didn't take them long to get hitched! In words of Perry "Don't you wanna try dating first?". It gives me great pleasure to see that Smallville has done the impossible (for me): shown us that Clark has long loved and cherished Lois Lane. And that she is THE ONE, and always will be! :)

I don't care what people say about Tom's being stiff while proposing, I thought he pulled it off perfectly. Clark looked so deliciously and adorably nervous. It was a perfect scene for me.

@MissFL89 I thought the scene would have been SOOO much better if TW didn't sound so wooden. I'm not saying he can't act (he was delicious as Clark Luthor) but something was just a bit off to me. He was nervous, sweet, funny and adorable in the moments leading up to it, but the actual proposal itself felt off to me. Erica Durance (Lois) is flawless as usual. Justin Harltey (Oliver) was especially good with the comedy this ep and of course Michael Shanks (Carter Hall) was heartbreakingly good.

I think probably in the finale, it'll be a glipmse of clois wedding, with Clark flying. The best way for Superman to take off his first flight in the finale would be catching Lois and flying over Metropolis kind of like the fly in Superman movie. Of course lois in wedding gown in that scene would be another lovely addition but thats how I want clark to fly. Classic Superman flying for the first time in Metropolis with none other than Lois lANE in his arms

@cyntalkz87 Usually scenes like this occur at the end of an episode, but the reality was that, once Lois knew that the man she loved and the hero with whom she wanted to share a life's mission was one and the same, her answer was never in doubt.

In some ways, Carter's death was foreshadowed by the title of this episode and Carter's last scene with Lois in Shield when he told her that he wanted her to meet her destiny before he joined his in another life.

this episode was great. i love clois... but I can't help but worry that the other shoe is going to drop at any second. usually on t.v. rarely is there a good solid happy ending. i hope that the writers and producers actually give us a happy ending, but I'm not holding my breath at this point.

@avonleaavengers01 Before Smallville, I suspect most people (who are not fans of the comic books) tended to think that Superman fought the bad guys by himself. Since Smallville, I think more people realize that Clark needed a tremendous amount of love and support from two sets of parents, friends, lovers (Lana/Lois), not to mention super friends. Although he has, and will, lose people, I think we can be sure that when the smoke clears, Clois will be intact.

Well, this was a perfect scene again! It was romantic and the fact that Clark calls her at the phonebooth makes it very special. They stood up this way for a long time.

I think that's why he purposed this way.

He loves her on every way and we (the fans of Lois and Clark) waited for a long time to see them so happy.
