I adopted an abandonned rabbit many years ago. He lived at my house until his death. I had it for 5 years and I never regretted my decision to adopt the little fellow. He's now dead (natural causes, he was quite old) and I miss him a lot. He was free in the house (no cage) and he had a litter box. I had taught him little tricks. That little fellow loved me so much... he hated everybody except me ! I miss you Bouchon... XXX

Rabbits breed so damn fast if you dont separate the genders . thats why the shelters are so full of them. in my town a crazy lady tried to rescue rabbits but she couldt afford to neuter them all. she built a 'play area' for them outside. there they bred until there was no grass left to feed on. alot of them starved to death. eventually animal control told her to euthanize them but she wouldnt so pest control came and shot them all. happy happy story.

I used to own a rabbit. She was abandoned. And she hated people at first. But then she became a house bunny. My dogs got along with her.

I miss her. She lived for 11 years.

I don't mistreat my bunny, instead my dad does. He scares my rabbit! I pet and hand-feed my rabbit, and he licks me anywhere, like the hand, foot, arm, leg, and face! My bunny likes me a lot, and I'm 10.

I rescued my bunny from the MSPCA She is a sweetie. I would like to get a companion bunny for her. People who throw animals away like they are garbage make me sick! I urge everyone to adopt a pet from the SPCA! There are millions of strays/abandoned animals who need good homes!

I just don´t understand why people treat animals like consumer goods. They buy them in shopping centers like clothes and then they dispose of them like a rag.

But they feel pain.

I wonder if there could be some regulation.

A down-payment of 300 Dollars which could be used later for vet´s bills. Some incentive that makes people think twice before buying a pet.

It is necessary because the "consumer´s freedom" is abused when it comes to animals.

I got given a rabbit as an Easter gift when I was 6. He wasn't fixed, and he was stuck in this little wire cage because my parents didn't know that rabbits could be trained to use a box. He was given to a neighbor...

I highly suspect he ate it. :(

We recently rescued a full-grown bun from a pet store. Someone brought her in, she was in a horrible metal cage...her poor feet! She's lonely though, we need to get her a friend. :P Thanks for the video.
