I still maintain that it is somehow available or is going to be available.

Look at Recon. It wasn't "hackable" because even though it was coded into the game, it wasnt on the disc. It was online only and bungie had to activate it for you.

I believe "GRD" helmet will work kinda the same way as far as coding to keep it secret.

All that said, it really is effing ugly as sin. If I found how to get it, I'd rock it for like a week just so all the 12 year old would be like "OMGEEEZ HOW i cAn HAz???"

@oSirSniffleso The problem with that logic is that modders have had access to Recon and Bungie chest for just about as long Halo 3 has been out.

Modding aside even, people were using little apps to generate armor perm "wishlists" if you will long before Halo 3 was even out. Recon itself was no secret aside from the method of obtaining it online.

I have personally mapped out Reach's armory and there is absolutely nothing except for the things already shown off in my armory videos.

If they were doing it just to generate buzz or interest in the game, thats really lame and they are only admitting that the game is crap otherwise.
