No, it is not a black dude singing, it is a white boy, and that white boy can sing!!! A lot of people think he is afro-american when they first listen to the song. The boy had rhythm and vocals to the max....He brought a lot to the table singing and this is a classic all the way....People say I got "black" in me because of my strong and R and B flip licks on the guitar and my vocals are mixed to a fro-tonic-reverb-placed-part..­.. It is sad he has passed, he was a legend that was under rated.
