Wow! That was the funniest place to do that scene from Little Shop of Horrors. I love that show so much and you did a great job even if you guys were in tuxes and dresses.
My favorite: The three 'shop girls' who randomly appear. Very nice.
This is my favorite song from Little Shop of Horrors. You guys did really good with it. :) Keep up the good singing! I added this to my broadway favorites playlist.
Really liked the girl's voice here. And it is very refreshing to see a quintessential musical song like this being sung at--what I'm assuming--a classical voice recital.
umm if you really loved musical theatre you would love when it is don right not the crap that get heard on a regular basis. when you take your head out of your ass and really listen to people that end up on stage you would pay good money to see it done like this
Awesome performance! Great vocals, great facials, great body language, great blocking! Jenna really does a great job of "being shy" and the little shy smiles. One critique: when Jenna first starts singing, it is a bit rushed for that part of the song. That part needs to be a bit slower. Y'all put the Mandy Moore-Adam Pascal video I just watched to shame (but that's not saying much).
anyone who knows the musical knows how camp it is generally. I think the laughter was because they recognised this and could see the funny side of this being done in the formal setting.
theyre laughing at the way seymour portrays the geeky character. and i dont see why you cant take her seriously... yes, mama WAS poor, but audrey has gained some money, that and the creeps she was with bought her crap.
yeah no offense but I laughed at the way you were dressed for this song... I understand it was a recital.. but I couldn't take her seriously when she said, "...daddy left early, momma was POOR"
I've been searching the internet for about a year looking for a good version of this song, and I have finally found it. If only the pianist hadn't had so much coffee beforehand.....
he was just having to keep up with the way they were singing the song. Usually at formal singings like this, the singers set the pace and the pianist follows their lead. It was a bit fast paced and rushed, and that is my only criticism.
the singers are good, butt whats with the fast tempo....... boooo

Westminster Choir College. It's a top-notch performing arts college and I believe it's in Princeton. If you want, you can check out their website.
It's a pretty great school, it just costs a gazillion dollars a trimester :(

Recitals are formal. It doesn't matter what the song is. or what the lyrics are. Understandable about the line though.
