@minipcpro: I bought this one today but I can't watch any video on YouTube because I need Adobe Flash but the AC100 doesn't have any Flash support. Could you please tell me what to do? I can barely do anything on it because of that! :(

Finally there is a linux based os on a computer that has some decent hardware and then it turns out to be broken. Why cabt they just anstall ubuntu, suse or debian on it so it that it will be a pc you could use every day for work and fun.

@dingumfCallofDuty Yes. An os is lnux based if it runs on the linux kernel. Ubuntu,debian,suse,and all the other os:s are linux based but you call tuem linux. Do you call osx unix? I dont think so its unix based just like solaris. Read some stuff online and we'll talk later.

@NDSCollector decent hardware? LOL its an ARM processor, Thats not decent hardware.

Also all those distro's are compiled for x86/x86-64 instruction sets and maybe ppc if you are lucky. They wont work on a tegra/ARM machine.

Linux based os? LOL its either Linux or it isn't. Can't be half way about it.

It's like saying that OS X is BSD. Just for fun try to install the linux kernel on your computer and see what comes out.

And besides what part of open source and kernel extensions did you not understand? I could run ubuntu on my fridge if i wanted

@NDSCollector no you couldn't you'd have to recompile the kernal for that, and BSD and OS X are both UNIX. Just like OpenSuse and Ubuntu are both LINUX. they are not based of it, they ARE linux.

@Zwank36 OS X is based on the freeBsd kernel so if you are right then it would mean that OS X is BSD.
