excalibur (save some money and fight in colliseum)

seydlitz (same as excalibur)

i can´t remember my helmet now,

and brigandine (save money blablabla)

that´s how i beat him.

ps use valor resin and incenses. and heros seal. and arcane resin.

The trick is audio cues. Wait until the 'flaming' sound fades out then just dodge whichever way. It takes a little getting used to but is almost flawless with a little practice. Midair evasion Boost also helps.

When he activates Divine Punishment, simply stand still and right before the swords appear, Neutral Dodge and jump up to him and attack. Cecil is most useful for this.

Awesome replay, though. I'm terrible with Jecht, I can just never time his combos, no one has told me how. >_>

Of all the bad guys, if you go into the Theater and hear Chaos' beginning of the battle audio, Jecht is the only one he says he likes. More or less this "I admire your bestial instincts."

I finally beat this fucker in the NA version, took me 3 hours on Warrior of light, one thing I found was most helpful is to have a valor insense and valor resin equipped, first hit takes more than have his life if you start out with first hit and full ex gauge. then on each form you start out the same way, so really you're only havin to worry about takin his hp down the rest of the way saving you time and less possibility for mistakes =D

get a multiplier dude...you get more damage...while wearing a power ring(DMG+15%) and the Champion Belt (PHY +25%)..and like x3 multiplyer u get alot of dmg...

btw Exdeath is the only person that can beat up jecht T_T..
