My theory is that Caroline was Angela's sister or twin. She was molested and killed, which brought Angela to mental instability and made her a female Dexter. To cope with this, Angela developed a split personality where she switches off being "Angela" and "Caroline". When she becomes Caroline, she watches the videos that Angela took and might record her own replies (one video showed Angie saying they last spoke 2 days ago. Maybe they talk through video responses?).

honestly if my teachers paid attention to me when i was being physicaly abused i probably wouldn't have developed depression. in a way im liking ceciley's character. the part that protects children not the part where she harms others. i really love this serries pls don't ever stop!

honestly, i have a sneaking suspicion that angela may have been a child molester as well. The more i say it the more i think its wrong but shes a psychopath school teacher hunting down other child molesters because they're relationship was never as good as hers and Carolina's.... who knows

@dermie10 I was thinking on similar lines though I thought maybe that Caroline was dead at the hands of a child molester/abuser because of Angela's inaction. Maybe it was her daughter killed by her husband or a student who came to her for help and she ignored it or perhaps a sister killed by her own father.

I'm starting to think that rather than dying, Caroline was kidnapped as a young adult and never came back, and she thinks that her sister us still alive and makes these videos for her sister on the off chance that she is still alive, to prove that she never gave up hope and every day she works towards stopping the people who took Caroline from her life.
