I'm not sure how I feel about "tier trend" characters to be honest. MSS were loved because they were literally broken as hell. With that gone (Infinites being impossible and no more 2 frame attack for huge damage in unfly) and others being extremely viable (Love all the new comers) I hope old Marvel 2 pros and newer competitive players try to unlock the potential of everyone and not run to what they know (Which is why people cry about Sent being broken NOW. He's just "the same" is all).

I know everyone has many personal favorite characters and while I do find some characters as a "waste of space", as some put it, in the end each character satisfies some fan base out there and thats all that matters. (plus DLC coming up)

Can't wait to play as Dante, Storm and Phoenix :)

Seriously, it's a new game. I was sad when Sentinel, Magneto and Storm were put in because I was hoping for more in the way of new characters. But I know the game will be different, with different balance. We don't really need Cable.

@pegasus619 I have played Crhis is HE IS NOT like Cable at all!! Just cause hes got guns dont make him like cable. I would comapre him more to the punisher or something. Dante and Wesker also got guns. Cable is a must since the true Marvel players (not cassual) know hes needed. We got the Mutant Killer (Sent) but we need the cop (Cable) to keep things in order... and yes Cable should have tiger knee 3x hyper viper beam!
