i actually like the pop styling on the chorus. it really fits the vibe of the song and i appreciate that he mixed up the rhythm of the main melody. It tricks the ear and keeps you listening because it's not what you expect. That probably took more thought than it would have to either use the original track or sing it just like the original. well done man!
