the "PSP2" is out now but like u said, its a lil too late, nintendo already maxing out preorders, and the PSp2 could possibly be up to 600 big ones and thts speculation because there isnt even a official price yet, i think sony is dropping the ball yet again

I'm interesting in trying their tech whenever I get the chance at my local Best Buy, but I gotta say.....at least Sega had the decency to space out their Genesis add-ons. Original Genesis: 1989 Sega CD: 1992 32x: 1994 Saturn: 1995. Sony introduces Move AND 3DTV in the same year!

About your gripe with Blue ray once again. you speak as though microsoft didn't force their fans to purchase yet another add-on to enjoy HD movies through the HD-DVD. Guess what, they did! along with Wi-fi... along with a freaking harddrive at that! At least the PS3 had all that right in the box from the get-go. And it didn't need a power brick the size of a ps2 and 48% fail rate to achieve it either. Oh, that and batteries for controllers. And free online.

wait, so you honestly think sony isn't going to dive into the casual gamer market with the playstation move??? it's called downloadable PSN games, there are plenty of casual games already out that can easily implement ps move by firmware. Your crazy if you think no casual games will be out by the time move is. and your gripe about 3d in general is a little off, seeing as how 3d will never really be a needed feature in any real game. it's just another option for people who want to enjoy it.

@jchoi1223 Killzone 3 is going to be their first real 3d game. So if you want to experience that you will have to buy all the bullshit. The same way they got people to buy PS3 for bluray Do you really need it no! Do they want you to buy it hell yes. Have you seen the new Justin, and Peyton 3d commercials? How are they going to advertise new casual motion controls when they have none. These same new gamers are just going to know about PSN. Come on now if they do then they are not casual.

@jodecideion They are core gamers the same people who already have PS3s. Wii owners are not going to jump ship. So you are better off going after other new gamers. With games that appeal to them. Something Microsoft at least tried to do, and something Sony fail at E3. Like I stated a new gamer isn't going to know about PSN. So you better have product at the store. Which they don't!

@jodecideion like i mentioned, its not a necessity in general to play killzone. they're not going to 'force' you to buy all that. it's just another option for rich enthusiasts. Also, it's been confirmed they can make any existing game out on ps3 into 3D by firmware. Once again, they want you to buy it, sure. but its not necessary. And what's this about blueray? that's one of the main reasons why anyone justified paying $300 for a ps3. Oh wait- unless ur a M$ fanboy.

When they can buy a cheaper Wii or even Kinect that may be cheaper overall compared to Playstaion3 and Move combo. Unless you have appealing software that makes the purchase worth while. Which they currently do not have.

@jodecideion Wow. You do realize BluRay is not just for making games right? It's a digital medium, tailored for High Defintition Movies. As in, let me spell it out for you, an evolution of regular DVDs. Meaning, movies that are presently now being shot for HD, which is all major motion pictures, can fit on a medium disc that can now handle the size for it to be possible.

Your saying Sony only showed off 'hardcore' motion control games like thats a negative thing. Sony realizes this as well. Nintendo already has the casual market covered. Unless Kinect can prove it can play hardcore games, I'd be a little less worried about Sony and more about Microsoft.

I love it how when you post a comment saying the 3DS has better graphics then the PSP, Sony fanboys will rage and say the PSP is 6 years old, outdated, and the PSP 2 will have better graphics, especially since Sony hasn't released any info or dates on a PSP 2, meaning the PSP 2 is a few years away. This easily gives us Nintendo fans an excuse to say why the PSP 2 might have better graphics, cause it's a few years old. I'm just gonna wait and see...

sonys conference wasnt bad, but wasnt great, most of sonys games were already announced before e3, but dont get me wrong sony fanboys, the conference was good, but not as good as nintendo

also about heroes on the move the characters aren't b list. naughty dog, insomniac and sucker punch were the devs that made those games the characters where from, and those games were some of the best of the ps2.

Jak got a new psp game, and possibly will be getting a new ps3 game. As for sly cooper while it isn't getting a brand new game (yet) they are getting ported to ps3. anyways, they still aren't b list. if anything they're former A list. if you don't like them fine, but those of us who still enjoy the ps2 games (ps2 fans) for the most part still do.

@Permafry42 Say I'm not trying to disrespect your favorite characters, but let us be honest here. Kirby, Donkey Kong, and Ness are not A list characters. Nintendo doesn't feel they must make a game with them. The same way Mario, Link, and Samus gets games. Sony has been known to milk a character, and then throwing the away. Crash Bandicoot rings a bell! During the PS2 Jak, Sly, and Ratchet where all the rage. Now except for Ratchet are being put on games for the PSP.

Sly is going to be on a HD port up before he gets a real game. Jak was on PSP 1st. So their first PS3 appearance is on a game for the Playstation Move. They are not stars anymore they are not supporting cast!

and the psp isn't a sony platform why exactly? Hell, MARIO went to DS before he went to Wii; doesn't mean he's not an a-list nintendo character. Kratos went to psp before ps3 too.

Naughty dog decided to put aside Jak so they could make Uncharted (he still got a psp game), where as Sucker Punch wanted to make infamous (sucker punch being more lazy sly only got a port). That doesn't mean that the characters aren't stars anymore; merely that some haven't came yet to the ps3.

I doubt they will keep making Ratchet and Clank with their A team. Instead focus on their New Mutliplatform game. Before I go i'll say this you know who is making Heroes on the Movie. Nihilistic!!! 1)Resistance 3 proves you dead wrong about insomniac moving away from ps3 exclusives. Plus they haven't said whether or not they're done with R&C yet (they HAVE made a total of 3 R&C games for ps3 though)

2) Sly Cooper is getting ported to ps3. I could go into how jak is being rumored to be Naughty Dog's next project too.

3)Even a company or individual developer who did terrible before can pull of something amazing case in point the majority of the good flash game makers.

I really don't get the Kevin Butler thing. I thought his speech was alright on its own, but in the middle of Sony's press conference? It was just a five minute diversion meant to make sure the hardcore PS3 guys didn't freak out over the PS Move stuff. Kinda funny but really just a lot of hot air.

yo you got i wrong the deal with ea is that you get 2 games for 1 price like dead space extraction and dead space 2 for the same price and with medal of honor you get the ps2 game in high defenition and you still pay 59.99 which is a amazing deal for us gamers

@jodecideion Both Sony and Nintendo pull out one hell of a show. And about the 3DS believe it or not it's actually a new handheld ny Nintendo. KONAMI is testing it's water with Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D. I don't think I have to tell you which Metal Gear is getting a port.

I do know this DS can't do a game like we seen in Kid Icarus. So really it's a 3DS game plus you can still play DS & DSi games on the 3DS. Also many company's announce there big guns for the 3DS.
