To remove it,  just use a exacto knife to lift it it will lift as one ring once it dries

Hey I got a little problem.

I got some CBC pads for my Protostar, and I just want to know how to replace them safely.

Just use a safety pin to take them out, then make sure to scoop off any left-over glue. =)

okay so i did exactly what you did and used everything you did but i used it on a duncan freehand and to one side and it is SUPER responsive!!!

i thought it would be UNRESPONSIVE :(

good question. Inspect the silicone job carefully, make sure there is no overflow. Make sure you didn't get any in the baring seat. Also, normally it takes about a day or 2 to break in a freshly siliconed yoyo. If you just keep playing with it, I'm sure it will break in and be unresponsive.

instead of having your silicone flat, you should try having it slightly concave, I heard somewhere that that was better. (I'm not talking about the KK bearing)

Does the silicone shrink when dried?
