  • Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait!

I don't want to be in a crystal!

Oh, can't one of you guys get me out of that thing?

...If i have to, to seal demise, then i'll stay...

    but if he's seal didn't break, i can go, can't i?

Please get me out of thaaaaaaaaaaat!

  • Faron Woods = kokiri forest

    Eldin Volcano = death mountain

    Lanayru Desert = Geredo desert

    Lake Floria = Lake Hylia

  • Lake Floria = Lake Hylia

Lanayru Sand Sea = Gerudo Desert

    Eldin Volcano = Death Mountain

Zora's Domain = Retconned into being right next to Lake Hylia (which makes sense), or not present at all.

  • Lake Hylia must be between Faron woods and Lanayru desert. Why don't we get to see it?

  • @Kittycat2786 Lanyaru Desert IS lake Hylia

  • @InvaderGIR98 I tought it would be gerudo valley/spirit temple since it's a desert. :$

  • @Kittycat2786 Ohh, no lake Hylia is lake floria, its Zora's Domain that's missing.

  • @Kittycat2786 Gerudo desert and lake hylia are both in the Lanayru province, so they both are :)

  • I just blew my own mind. This place looks a hell of a lot like the Temple of Time in OoT. The entrance is a long hall with big doors at the end opening up to a large room. That would mean Castle Town would have to be built right where the massive statue stands. Assuming OoT takes place way into the future that would mean the statue would have crumbled to be replaced with the town. If that's the case then that would mean OoT's Hyrule Field is actually Faron Woods way in the future and less trees.

  • @Skaarjguy if u look at the map from OOT and the map in SS its not all that different

  • @248sly I did, and while there are some major differences it does have a similar shape. Thousands of years of erosion can change a place drastically.

  • SPOILER ALERT!

When I realized the goddess' name was Hylia, my mind was blown beyond awesomeness.

  • gives me goosebumps

  • @707zelda1 not groosebumps?

  • @ansemthegreat1 WORST< PUN< EVER

  • @SuperBananaaaCHOP yeah, when will people learn to leave the groose puns to groose himself! just not funny when other people try them -,-

  • My Emotions in this scene...

  • @Jillybean2396 not trying to diss on his opinions of okami, but they are SO much better than he is making them sound. Please play them. I promise you it'll be one of the best decisions you'll ever make. Incredible games

  • 1 person didn't get the master sword -.-

  • 0 Dislikes, the way it should be. :)

  • What would make this game more awesome, is if you could explore the past and do temples there too. Tha'd be so flippin amazing...

  • @Jillybean2396 Not such an amazing idea... learned that from Okami games.

  • @OrdonWolf Weeeeell that's just me, some people out there want to get the game the day it comes out and beat it in one night. And I've never playing Okami games, what are they about?

  • @Jillybean2396 The best Zelda look-alikes ever, but both feature a bit too much story content for their own good. In the first one you'll eventualy explore an area in the past to fight a boss battle, but it's very long. In the second game you have to time travel twice to complete the story and it's a PAIN.

  • @OrdonWolf Ohhhh, I see. But I'd rather have a super long awesome game than a super short crappy game.

  • @Jillybean2396 We can all agree on that! xD

  • @Jillybean2396 Okami is roughly the same length as Skyward Sword. The second game, Okamiden, is a fair bit shorter but still loads of fun.

  • Temple of Hylia, or as I'd like to call it after a certain scene-Temple of Zelda.

  • When I got to this part, I could not help but stare at the Gate of Time in awe... watching its intricate pattern rotate in a motion that was mesmerising. I watched in amazement for hours... and then I realised something wonderful: the Gate of Time is actually foretelling the Legend of the Goddess... you see the symbols of Din, Nayru and Farore, representing the three provinces. There are patterns which look like a score of music, there are also three. And alongside these, there are three...

  • @Rinkufan ... symbols which look like keys. And the keys link to the central symbol: the Triforce. In Skyward Sword, Link must retrieve the three flames of Farore, Nayru and Din to forge the Master Sword. He then must learn the Song of the Hero, which has three parts. When this is complete, Link has found the key to the Triforce.

  • Have you noticed how the Door of Time changes between past and present? In the past, you enter the back side; in present, you enter the front side. It's like Zelda's Lullaby: now it is the same song, reversed but still epic.

  • this is just the begin of the temple of time

  • It's not 'Hyrule'. It's Grooseland!

  • When she said she was going to punish herself by sleeping for a thousand years I was like:

"WHAT. -.- THATS A PUNISHMENT?! MORE LIKE A RELIEF FROM HAVING TO DO WHAT LINK HAS TO FRIGGIN DO NEXT D8<"

  • @Zeldafan1ify Lazy whore >:O

  • @matguimond92 IKR -.-

  • >.< oooo I thought i was gonna see the world in the past

  • @TheRandomnessx7 Timeshift stones, guy?

  • @GanonAkumaFan Umm im not only talking about the desert you know?

  • @TheRandomnessx7 Still, you can do it with the Timeshift stones. I wonder what does Eldin Volcano look like in the past...

  • @GanonAkumaFan Well..its not like we can pick it up or even find enough energy source from one to do the whole Eldin Volcano area.....thats so much work to do anyway, it just be easier if you just go back in time to see it

  • @GanonAkumaFan Well its not like you can pick it up in the game or even if you did i pretty sure you won't find enough energy to get the whole Eldin Volcano area! It just be easier if you just go back in time to see it

  • I think the legend of zelda is actually itself the legend of how the mortal Zelda discovered she is the reincarnated goddess Hylia and how she was saved from the hero of legend, Link from the original evil Demise

  • I wanted to explore the entire Lanayru Province while it was in the past. :'(

  • My temple!

  • It just doesn't sound the same without the sound of the Gate of Time.

  • 95 million Wii's sold, LoZ:SS only 3 million sold...WTF??

  • @SossarHatarSverige Replacements, homebrews, and WiiFit-only moms.

  • i didn't know we were gonna go to the past.... So i kept thinking we were going to the future, to Hyrule :/

  • When I saw that scene with Zelda and when I learn the name of the goddess, everything started making sense to me :

    SPOILER ALERT

    - All Zelda are a reincarnation of Hylia, the goddess protector of the almost-human race : the HYLian. That could explain how all Zelda share the same desire of protecting her people from evil (i know, this might seem obvious, but i just summarize);

  • @modirufa6317 You're as obvious as Fi. ;D

  • @TheRisingShine Sorry, but I can't help it : I just love all those details in the series that much

  • You can kind of tell the difference between this theme and the Sealed Temple theme. Sealed Temple is more cheery and upbeat, to represent new beginnings. Temple of Hylia is more somber and grave, to represent the seriousness of the story.

Both still manage to sound beautiful at the same time, though. Love this game's music.

  • Man. If only you could explore the past, you could have seen Lanayru desert in it's prime... I wanted to sail the sea seeing more than a little circle of where I was going...

  • You know what really blew my mind? The fact that (SPOILER ALERT!) Zelda was in the Temple at the Sealed Grounds the whole time. I actually noticed the orange crystal thing she was in at the brginning of the game. I just thought it was detail..

  • I heard that the land of Hyrule was named after Hylia

  • i really wish you could've explored the past ;__;

  • @skepsie You kinda do it in Lanayru Desert with the Timeshift Stones...

  • man i woudve loved to explore skyloft in the past

  • @FlameSpyro1 There was no Skyloft at this time in the past. Hylia rose the bunch of earth you know as Skyloft later after defeating Demise.

  • @GanonAkumaFan In fact, she rose Skyloft in the sky before defeating Demise, the legend in the intro of the game tells that.

  • @Azurcyan Sorry for the mistake, sometimes there are too many facts I try to memorize at the same time... and it makes me kinda confused. But I'm pretty sure you are right, I just didn't remember the video intro. Hylia's first goal was to protect the Hylians/ Humans from Demise and his army of evil creatures.

And if I wrote Hylians/ Humans, it's because it is not officially stated in the game: they are refered to as humans, but they have pointed ears.

  • The awesome moment when your discover why the name is The Legend of Zelda, not Link...

  • @DNAngelDark12 So, in other words, when we pick up the Master Sword in any given Zelda game, we pick up Fi, right?

  • @gallantmon8 yup!

  • ****SPOILER****

I think what this game leads up to is pretty much every Zelda game. Link created the master sword in this one, Fi's spirit dies in the sword but she says "we will meet in another life" (Navi) Link puts the sword into the temple of Hylia where huge stone doors close (Note temple of Hylia has the time gate in it) In the future temple of Hylia becomes Temple of time. The huge stone door then requires the spiritual stones to open as the decedent hero's test.

    ***SPOILER***

  • @HeroicLegend9 No, Fi said that she will eternally sleep within the Master Sword. Though she can no longer physically appear anymore, she still resides within the same sword wielded by the generations of Link. That's what she meant by "We will meet again.".

  • @HeroicLegend9

And then Ganondorf is the reincarnation of Demise aswell, right?

  • @HeroicLegend9 Well, Navi can't be Fi because Fi didn't die, she's just sleeping forever, therefore she CAN'T be reincarnated.

And yes, it does lead up to them. This is the first in the timeline, and Nintendo recently released the official timeline ^_^

  • So they shelled out for a live orchestra but didn't pay for a real choir? Lame.

  • @kenjutsukata1o1

Dude, synthesized voices have been a part of Zelda since the beginning. It's nice that they keep on using it, kind of like a tribute to how far they've come. It's a huge nostalgia factor and, dare I say it, Zelda games would sound a little odd if it didn't use them in some way or another.

  • @ColorMeStupid86 Eh, I'm all for tradition and all, but I still would have preferred a real choir for this song at least. It's too bad Skyward Sword didn't stick to tradition with the world - all the areas were just dungeons in disguise! That's what bothered me more than anything.

  • HUH!? Isn't this from Secret of Mana!?

  • Just to think about it, you can't explore the Earth in past, but Zelda can >:(

  • @meldan100 honestly if they made a game based on all the crazy crap she got to do it skyward sword i'd buy it in a heartbeat

  • @meldan100 I was hoping that Zelda was playable in this game as a secret character once you beat the game like how Luigi was in SMG. :(

  • @meldan100 Not if she's stuck in a crystal....

  • @Fluxriflex2 She explored it before that.

  • @meldan100 Zelda said the battle against demise wasn't that long before the time in the past, so I'm guessing the world is pretty devastated. :/ Still, I was pretty curious too.

  • @meldan100 >:U Its not Earth, SIlly! Its..."The Surface".....then it will be called "Hyrule" in like....100-1000 years or somethin'.

  • @BreezeOfTehBread "Oh youth... Combine earth and sky..."

    AKA Ballad of the Godess.

And Fi calls it Earth when she translates something deep in her memory.

  • The legend of...Hylia?

  • @meandmyfriends999 This game does so much to the mythology of the series, even giving a reason for the title.

  • @thomas0comer The scene when Zelda-er..Hylia...sealed herself...

    I CRYD ERYTIEM!!! ;((

  • @meandmyfriends999 Hylia Rules = Hyrule

  • @GilvaSunner Mind=Blown :O

  • @GilvaSunner this temple was once called the temple of Hylia before it became the sealed temple.

  • @modirufa6317 Anyone who played the game would know that..

Not sure why you're telling all these fun facts to the OP

  • @WtfImaskank same reason as the other video "avoiding danger" : the uploader changed the title "sealed temple / past" into "temple of Hylia" before you knew it (i comment on its newest videos 10 min after he upload them)

  • @modirufa6317 And I personnally think its called the Temple of Time later :p

  • @Mentaclink Probably. One of the thing I like about this game is it give us new interesting theory to talk about.

  • subscribe, thanks
