Gov option will cut out the middle man taking a huge cut for their gains.
Ok you make a decision buy a house in 2005 at $800,000, or buy it at $300,000 today? How about I tell you with the paper work it will cost $400,000 would you still buy it 5 years later, or immediately?
No he doesn't. He is explaining why the subsidees and mandates begin in 2014. If they were to start in 2010, which they do not, the bill would cost 2.5 trillion. In order to keep the bill under 900 Billion, they pushed the mandate to 2014. How is this so complicated that Republicans can't understand it?
@meteorpinball72 You obviously don't get that when you look at costs vs. revenues over 10 years, you need to look at it at a comparable 10 year period. They are saying that 10 years of revenues outweigh 6 years of spending. No shit Sherlock - makes total sense. Of course, they still aren't taking into consideration the Doc fic, implementation/maintenance costs, etc... Regardless, as things stand, 10 yrs of revenue - 10 yrs of spending = estimated -$2.5 trillion, not +$130 billion or whatever.
He and the rest of his demonrat terrorist party know what they are doing against the will of the people is wrong, so the only way he can stand in front of a camera and spread more lies is to get drunk. He probably read the Koran and went to a titty bar the night before to fully prime him for giving this speech.
But the ACLU will come to his defense along with the other anti-American terrorists they love.
...and that's just what it is going to cost the government. Because of mandates to private individuals to purchase insurance in line with government requirements, add another $2.5Trillion. And then remember that government projections are always lowballed to make them appear less formidable.
The root cause of this whole mess? Health care costs are paid by a third party - therefore there is no incentive to keep costs down. Government options will only make things worse, not better.
