  • This movie is a killer!!!! Ive seen it at least 30 times!!!

  • 2:01 MEGA LOL DUMMIES

  • About as near perfect a comedy you'll ever see.

  • The car chase with Slyvester -- probably one of the funniest car chases ever. If you really watch it, there is some very good stunt driving intercut in that scene.

Though it isn't a remake, Spielberg's 1942 is in the same chaotic vein as you have different characters all over the place until they finally converge. A lot of people didn't like it, but I thought it was a pretty funny movie.

  • A true remake would be impossible as no studio is ever going to sign onto anything over even three hours. It would have to be independently funded.... which would make having all the A-list actors out of the question

Rat Race, if you take it by itself, is a very funny movie and if you liked Mad Mad World, you should totally check it out

  • I hope they make a Mad Mad Mad World 2 someday.

  • Best ensemble comedy ever made......and a treat of a chase near the end

  • 5 STAR romp. I hope like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang it's never eremade!

  • ♥ .

  • Saw this a few times as a kid on tv and just loved it. I think the movie Rat Race was some what a remake of it.

  • It is one of the funniest movies ever made. Ethel Merman was incredible on it.

  • @christopher242424 acually groucho marx was oringanly going to play her part (sadly he demaned to much money) whille she was amazing groucho yould have made it even better lol

  • @TooCool1993 Wasn't that funny and creepy actor Peter Lorre alive at that time? He would outweigh both Ethel Merman and Groucho Marx. They should have though on him.

  • @MADWORLD1427 yeh, it was sooooo long! there was an intermision half way threw and people thought that was the end of the film, lol, and there were no seats, we all just brought rugs and pillows with us, proper arabian style, lol

there were some awesome scenes in the film, but i just wanted to go so i could have an excuse to dress up as an arab for the day, lol

  • im back dude! im back from london and here to comment on your awesome vids

we watched lawrence of arabia, i fell asleep threw it. it was a cinema where you had to dress up for the film though, so me and my friends all dressed up as arabians, lol, was funny when we were on the bus there, dressed up, lmao

this film looks good, nd its got the guy from petes dragon in it! ha ha

... or does it? it definetly looks like a mad film anyways, lol

  • @MADWORLD1427 ~ Your telling me Craig, me & myself are the one's who came out of the Garage with our bat! Your namesake video here is amazing, as always, after reading the comments on taking yourself out of your comfort zone & utilizing the original song even tho "it has been there done that" me & myself believe really shows your depth, skills, & abilities. Me & myself were also walking down the Fremont Experience this week discussing the making of a new video, help clear the air, etc, etc. etc.

  • Alright Craig, after meditating & deep contemplation, me & myself opened our eyes (long exhale)

the first video made for you from us shall be this

(& the final swing being this masterful video with the respect to keeping the originality as you stated, therefore honing your skills that much further)

    !?Have you seen what a Easton 31in. 23oz. 2 & 1/4" DIA. ULTRA LIGHT H2

CU31 ALLOY MDL LX13123 BAT can do to a Computer?! Me neither & the fun part will be watching Jon put it back 2gether!!LOVE!

  • Outstanding...an epic film all around. Great story & cast, and it's still as funny today. I think that the world seems crazier, everyday. Things look normal back than.

Great job here, Craig. Love the music too.

  • They don't make'em like this anymore. Probably couldn't afford a cast like this!

  • What incredible cast of comedic giants. Even Jimmy Durante! A crazy, fun movie that I saw a whole buncha times. I think I read somewhere this was the inspiration for the Canon Ball Run movies. Thanks, monsieur Dude! I'm going out to rent this.
