incredible how he can sing against the rhythm of his fingerpicking. He is very very gifted. Simply mindblowing. I fell in love with this song a couple of years back when i heard a few lines in a commercial. I ran to find a piece of paper and wrote down the words. Looked up the lyrics and found the song. of course it's not the same. having heightened hearing will help with the sound he makes. it's the same as having bigger bicep muscles that will help you lift heavier weights.

I'm not sure that being blind will improve your musical skill. It has no effect on things like his unique voice and improvisation skill, thats just something you must be born with. His handicap will certainly have some advantages, but I don't think it makes that much difference.

Of course it will have an effect on his voice etc. If you ever play a musical instrument try closing your eyes and just concentrating on the sounds, it's underlying intracacies will be more obvious for sure.

So when they do something a tad differently from the original, people think it's something diffferent and new.... no it's just the way they were feeling at that point in time. that's why it's sounds different each time they play it

@sirelder Honestly, I find Mraz to be underrated. Yes, I'm Yours made him insanely popular, and most people have heard of Lucky and/or Make it Mine as well as The Remedy. But if you're to ask them about any other songs, nobody has heard of them.

To recap: I'm Yours is overrated, the REAL Mraz is indeed underrated. Not to the same extent as Midon, I find him to be incredibly talented, and I love his music, but I wouldn't call Mraz overrated except on those few songs.

Don't knock jason mraz until you listen to dynamo of volition..he s just as much a musical asset as this guy. Just because someone is blind that doesnt always make them a better musician than someone else. Their vision does and their creativity. This guy is great because he feels the music and didnt let being blind stop him but be honest if another blind guitar player were to play a bad song you wouldn't give that person accolades.Blind or not its the persons musical creativity that makes a jam.
