I read this book not knowing it originated as Twilight fan fiction. I never caught that connection while reading it. This is a truly amazing novel - a story of darkness and light, love and redemption. It really bears little resemblance to Twilight. It is one of the most beautifully written novels I have ever had the pleasure to read.
