Actually the vw data for 1.9 tdi 130 hp is:

Golf-206kmh top speed ( but we all know he can give more).

Ibizia with the same engine ( Seat share this engine with vw)- 207 kmh top speed ( of course, it can run more)...

The Golf 4 has a slightly better aerodynamic.

VW data for 1.9 TDI 130 hp:

max. 205 km/h

VW data for the 2.0 TDI 140 hp:

max. 203 km/h

Thats with standard wheels and tires.

Of course the speed indicator may show more, but this is the real max. speed.

The 1.9 TDI with 130 bhp is faster than the 2.0 TDI with 140 bhp. We tried it out! Don´t think, the Golf on the right lane drives as fast as he can.

Read a few magazines where the new A3 were tested with the Golf IV in 2003, the Golf with 130 bhp was 3 seconds faster from 0-160 kph.

My Golf V 1.9TDI 18 Inch wheels and 135Hp´s the topspeed was 215km/h!!! also 2.0TDI must go better then 205!!!
