it is three years after this video. You can buy the device, but how it is currently I think it is a flop. The problem is that with a device like this, I want to stick the thing on my head and play Call Of Duty. I want to be able to move it around with immediate and absolute precision just by thinking about it. It looks like this has a long way to go before that happens. In fact, I do not think this device even has that kind of capability.

@robloxdude0103 This is just a fancy controller, just because you use your mind to control it does not mean that you can do anything. The device may be able to detect that you want to no clip but unless that feature is built into the game it is not happening.

My exact thought! Think about recording/mapping how your brain reacts to various (all?) different harmonies, type of sounds and such, and then performing music intuitively afterwards... With a synth that's capable of morping between different soundsources (Like Alchemy) the results could be amazing!

When you stop moving all sensation of it stops. This kind of pure motion could be a part of what we normally feel when we move. It could exist independently in the "laboratory" of virtual reality. Whether or not it can be detected well enough by scalp EEG is another matter.

The only problem I see with this now is that the way the EEG tech works is that each signature to a command is not necessarily universal between people. So, you'd have to program it specifically to each user, which would make things a lot more difficult. Needless to say though, this is really cool!

This technology will unlock the doors to a console that allows virtual reality. Like the anime ".hack//roots" or ".hack//legend of the twilight" I am excited just thinking of such a virtual reality environment console. 1) Have you thought about using accelerometers to measure rotation (like the iPhone does), instead of using gyroscopic sensors?

It's new technology. Considering what it does, it's actually a great price. I'm astonished, I always thought this sort of thing would be far too complicated to create. How can it distinguish thoughts from one to another? Will it have more potential in the future?

But then again, when you order or buy this, you will get, the headset, the game, a software that will allow you to connect the headset to other games that u have, and i also think there is a another software which allow you to put music, pictures and videos in a program, and things organize after how you feel.
