I remember reading in the book that all the victem's hadn't fought back or anything, and it seemed as if they had been drugged, yet when Mello explained it all at the end, he didn't say anything about BB using drugs on them. It was said, though, that BB killed people whose life was up anyway. Even if he was their cause of death, he never actually "killed" them.

Yeah, probably, but I have a feeling that they were actually fated to be killed by him. Like he says he kills them when they were destined to die, maybe him killing them was how they were meant to die. Also one of the deaths it mentions injecting the victim with something or something before choking him I believe. Meh. Oh and when you say 'he never actually killed them' it's like when people say he's a seriel killer, ut he only illed 3 people, you know? But still, I stick to my opinion :)

If they were, still, that would mean its fate's doing, not his own. Like I said, if he didn't kill them, I'm sure something else would have, seeing as though their time was up. And I think "serial killer" just means killing a series of people.

*Joins convo* When your fated to die though, you die a certain way no? So I think what shes saying is that they we're fated to die by his doing, so he DID kill them, he just knew he was suppose to in advance, plus since it was fated it would have happend anyways~

Anyway since their time was up when he killed them it does make sense that he was fated to kill them, but I don't think anyone can be sure he knew he was supposed to. Unless the fact that they were perfect for sending his challenge to L and that they all died when he needed a victem made him think that.
